ARC RECEIVED FROM AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW

The Fine Line is a love story centred on the world of illegal street racing (think Fast and Furious).

Liv and Logan's relationship is an emotional rollercoaster!    At times it was worthy of a good eye roll, but other times there was so much drama it was like reading the script of a soap opera.  Yes, at times it was a bit over the top, but it was well written so it kept my interest.

I liked that the story was based on the illegal street racing scene.  Somethine completely different to what I normally read.

Logan is just wonderful.  Sexy, Sweet. Worshipped the ground that Liv walked on.  He also has his fair amount of drama, but that just gave him more of an edge.  There were no secrets from him about how he feels about Liv

Liv has had a difficult time, and I could understand her hesitancy about entering into a relationship with Logan.  But GAAAAHH he to-ing and fro-ing got to annoy my no end!  The poor boy pours his heart out to you, right in front of you and you keep pushing him away. I know I am not going to be the only on that this frustrates!  I know she is only young but seriously girl, blind Freddy could see what he was offering you and you throw it back at him, over and over!!  A lesser man would have walked away after constantly being "friend zoned".

Will Liv get over her fear of abandonment?  Will Logan give up on her after all?  Or will they be able to overcome these difference and have a HEA?

I did find it hard to empathize with Liv, probably due to a lot of her actions?  Some of the things she did were pretty unlikeable to me.

Wouldn't you love  to know?!?!?

This is Ms Kobishop's debut novel, and for all the frustration it gave me, it was an interesting read.  What I really did like was that Liv and Logan did not have an insta-love relationship (I am soooooo not a fan of the insta-love!!).  Their relationship was a slow burn from friendship to more, back to friendship... like I said, it was a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs.

If you are after a read with sexy cars, hot racer boys, and a lot of angsty teenager stuff, The Fine Line is the book for you!
