Beau's cousin Trystan already has his own book: ACCIDENTAL TRYST

★★★★★
5 Stars

All Beau Montgomery, one of Charleston’s most eligible bachelors, wants to do is build boats. He has no interest in marriage whatsoever until it means he might not get his inheritance and he can kiss his boat building dreams goodbye. But the hungry hordes of Charleston debutantes looking to score a Montgomery scare him sh*tless.

Gwen has loved Beau Montgomery since she used to run barefoot around the marina as scrappy preteen tomboy. Knowing she’ll never fit into his high society family, she decided long ago that she’d become his indispensable best friend rather than not be in his life at all. When he tells her he needs to marry in order to fulfill his dreams, she panics that he might actually meet someone and she’ll lose him forever.

We already met Beau in his cousin Trystan's book ACCIDENTAL TRYST. And Beau's book takes place around the same time. The cousins' grandpa just died and left the whole business to Trystan - in the hopes he would move back to Charleston and reconnect with the family. And he left a huge piece of land and marina to Beau to finally get started on his dream of starting his boat-building business. BUT ... poor Beau has to get married to receive his inheritance.
Beau is not a relationship kind of guy ... and Charleston is full of society daughters who would love nothing more than marry into the Montgomery family. Not happening!
Then there's Gwen. Beau's best friend. Only ... she's been in love with him for almost 20 years. He just doesn't know that.
Gwen doesn't want him to marry a stranger and maybe fall in love with his new wife along the way. Can she really watch that happening?
But can she marry Beau and have him not love her back?
Or does he mayyybe have his own secret feelings for her too?

LET'S FIND OUT!!!!! ☺

Awww finally back in Charleston with Beau!!! And we even get to see Trystan again.
Beau's story was just as adorable as Trystan's book. Not as funny, but just as great. We have funny moments, but it's a bit more serious ... he needs to get married asap. He doesn't want to lose his boat-building-business-dream.
That poor guy! If he would only turn on his manly brain and realize that his best friend is in love with him. They could've been happy together for years already!
But maybe they needed the time to grow up and whatever! ☺

Now's the time though. And it was really adorable and frustrating and sweet to watch them fight for that happy end!
And I kind of adored Gwen's dad and Beau's grandma! And the dog and Gwen's crazy friends.

This is such a great series, set in such a beautiful city - can't wait to read more Charleston books - Beau has a sister who needs to get married too!!!! Plus lots of single friends are available star in future romances! ☺

INCONVENIENT WIFE was such an adorable romance. I just loved it! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Beau - this one is MINE!!!

COMING SOON!!!!

And here it is - sorry Natasha I read it as fast as I could!

If you have read Accidental Tryst you have already met our leading man Beau - he is Trystan's cousin, remember him?

I adored this story just as much as the first.  Whilst the first was more funny, Inconvenient Wife is more emotional.

Soooo much more emotional.

Beau and Gwen's story is a beautiful best-friends-to-more story that had me laughing, had me crying, had my heart hurting along with our lovelies.

I adore Gwen's dad, and surprisingly, I came to really like Beau's grandma, who from all accounts has been a bitter old woman for what seems forever!

Then there are Gwen's friends who are equal parts crazy and and downright amazing and you can't help but love them.

It was also fun to see Trystan's story from the outside.

I sat and read this book in one sitting I enjoyed it so much.

I hope we get more stories from Charleston in the future.

Each day I prayed for my husband to love me again.

After fifteen years together, he walked away from me, and into the arms of another.

I didn’t know how to cope. I didn’t know my worth. I didn’t know how to exist without him by my side.

All I wanted was for him to come back to me.

Then, Jackson Emery appeared.

He was supposed to be a distraction for my mind. A summer fling. A confidence boost to my bruised heart.

We were perfect for one another, because we both knew we wouldn’t last. Jackson didn’t believe in commitment, and I no longer believed in love. He was too closed-off for me, and I was too damaged for him.

Everything was fine, until one night my heart skipped a beat.

I didn’t expect him to make me laugh. To make me think. To make my sadness somewhat disappear.

When our time was up, my heart didn’t know how to walk away.

Each day I prayed for my husband to love me again, yet slowly my prayers began to shift toward the man who wasn’t right for me.

I prayed for one more smile, one more kiss, one more laugh, one more touch

I prayed for him to be mine.

Even though I knew his heart wasn’t destined to love.

*This book was previously known as Between the Notes. (But it was never released with that title title was changed before release!!!)*

Grace has been in love with Finn since she was 15 years old. Now she's 30 and he's leaving her for another woman. He fell out of love with her after she stepped out of life for a bit after their miscarriages. He just couldn't do it anymore. But she still loves him. She hopes that she can spend the summer back in their home town convincing him to come back to her. But she's not so sure anymore after she sees who his new girlfriend is.
And also ... the whole town has something to say/gossip about every little thing in her life - the typical life of a pastor's daughter.

And then she meets Jackson.

Jackson used to be a sweet and adorable boy full of love for his parents and his dog.
And then his mom left when he was only 10 and his dad became a sad and mean drunk.
Now he's the town bad boy running his dad's car repair shop.
He's not doing love. He never will.
But Grace - rich girl - pastor daughter - Grace .... she intrigues him and infuriates him. She's the poster child for everything that's wrong in this little town. The royal pastor princess. So much better than his dad and him. But the more he gets to know her, the more he realizes she's not like her mother and the other town idiots.

She's only here for the summer and still in love with her ex - maybe he can have a few nice months with her .... But what if hearts are getting involved?

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO GRACE & JACKSON??
WILL THERE BE A HAPPY END?

OY!

This book was amazing!
Just like with all of Brittainy's books, I cried a lot! A LOT! I almost drowned reading the last 20%!!!
It's all so heartbreakingly beautiful and sad and sweet and ugh. It was such an amazing story.
You just want to jump into the book and push Grace and Jackson into their happily ever after while hitting every single one of the town's residents on the head with my kindle! Ugh. Churchy small towns in America are the worst! I just hate it. I hate everything religious. And this town. Those snobby and gossipy people hiding behind their 'faith'. HORRIBLE.
Almost every page of that book had one person in it that I wanted to ... grrrrr

Grace and Jackson are so sweet and sad and broken. They would be so perfect for each other.

They would be able to heal each other and live happily ever after. But that damn town and all the people have a LOT to say to that. And also, both are not really in the market for something serious.

Ugh, I'm still not done with Grace's mom. I could hate-rant on forever .... I wanted to throw her mother out the nearest window! But ... tiny little spoiler??? → Her mom does come around in the end. Thank you Jesus! ☺
Please don't let me scare you away with all my hate-talk. The book was mega adorable and moving and sweet and full of love and hope and possible second chances.
I loved reading it SO much! AMAZING STORY!
Brittainy just knows how to get our eyes peeing! ☺

DISGRACE was such a heartbreakingly beautiful & adorable & moving romance! So full of grief and loss and faith and hope and love and possibilites. Run to your nearest amazon - you need to get your hands on Jackson asap - he'll be sold out in NO time!!!!!!!!

ARC received for an honest review

Wow, just wow.

That is all I can say about this book.  Buy it and read it, that is all!

As with all of Ms Cherry's books, it is an emotional, 2-box-of-tissues read.

With the exception of just a few characthers, I hate hate HATED everyone in this book for most of the book.  There were a few exceptions - Grace, Jackson, Judith and Josie - but pretty much everyone else I wanted to jump into the book and throat punch people!

This book brought out such visceral feelings in me - and maybe a few violent tendandies!   I could feel my body stiffening with pure hatred of people.  I threw my kindle to the side at times.

I adored Grace and Jackson, as enemies, as frenemies, as more.  I loved how they healed each other without even trying.

I loved it when Grace finally stopped being a doormat to most people, and I let out a whoop of excitement when she told people off.  It was worth all the frustration just for that moment!

Beautiful, heartbreakingly sad, emotional, yet full of hope.  That is what Disgrace was all about .  It has been a couple of days since I finished reading and I can still feel the emotion.

It has been worth every second of the wait for Disgrace, and I can't wait to see what Ms Cherry brings us next.
