ARC received for an honest review

This series really does just keep getting better and better.

I didnt' think anybody would take over my love of Cole and Ty in A Mended Man, but Dratyon and Vann have pulled up into equal first place in my heart.

Some of us are lucky to find our soul mate.  Some of us are lucky to find them young.  Drayton and Vann found each other as teenagers, and through everything that has kept them apart, their love have remained strong.

Ms Reese grabbed me around the heart from the first chapter of A Worthy Man.  My heart ached for these beautiful men.  Theirs really is an epic love, a love to survive the ages.

Whilst our lovelies had overcome the biggest of their hurdles in their separation, there are still roadblocks popping up.

I LOVE that they stayed strong, that we got to be taken on them as they find out the men they are today.

"The only positive of being away from you for so long is that I now get to enuoy falling for you all over again."

Le sigh.

A Worthy Man is full of  such beautiful moments.

It put a big smile on my face as Vann came out of his shell, became the man he was on the road to being all those years ago.  Growing into the man that Dray loves more each and every day.

I really don't think I have the words to do this book justice, to convey how much I really did love Dray and Vann and their story.

I love it. Go buy it. Read it.

Cmon, Drayton said, tugging Vann by the hand. After breakfast and a countertop quickie, they had immediately returned to the bedroom and had been hibernating there since. He had no objection to spending all day in bed, but he had a surprise for Vann and couldnt stand waiting any longer.
I want to show you the rest of the house.

But I like the bedroom.

Drayton chuckled, pulling him up with more force. We can come back after.

Fine, Vann grumbled, finally sitting up on the bed with a dramatic pout.Youre cute when you dont get your way.

Cute enough to stay in bed? He waggled his eyebrows and petted the bed. Its really soft.Drayton leaned in and gave Vann a chaste kiss, jerking back quickly to avoid his grasp.Vanns laughter filled the room.

Damn. Youre still super-fast. He reluctantly stood and stretched his arms over his head.Draytons lips parted, enjoying the flex of muscles.Like what you see? Vann asked, delivering a cocky grin as he seductively licked his lower lip. Lets get back in bed—”

Drayton threw his head back and laughed. Youre still persistent as hell. Cmon. I want to show you something.

I want to show you something too.

This is important. Drayton crossed his arms. We can skim the other rooms but theres one thats special. Itsyours.

Vann sobered. Youve given me enough to cover every event for the rest of my life and then some. I dont want—”

Its also for me. Ill watch you while you use the room.Hmm. Vann pursed his lips. Okay, youve got my attention. After a little more bargaining, Drayton finally lured Vann out of the bedroom and down the hallway. He opened the door to his office and stepped inside. This is the room Im usually in when Im here.

Not anymore. He chuckled as they exited the office. They walked down the hall to the room hed had converted into a gym.Damn, this is nice. Vann checked the different weight options and looked at each of the machines.Youve got everything here for all types of routines. And if you dont like the view, youve got a TV.

The views beautiful.

Whatever we need to change out or add, weve still got space. I do a lot of thinking while Im on the treadmill, so were not getting rid of that.

Vann chuckled. Okay. He walked over to Drayton and leaned in for a slow kiss.

Mmm. What was that for?

Is this the room Ill use while you watch me? I promise Ill make you sweat too.

Jaime Reese is the alter ego of an artist who loves the creative process of writing, just not about herself. Fiction is far more interesting. She has a weakness for broken, misunderstood heroes and feels everyone deserves a chance at love and life. An avid fan of a happy ending, she believes those endings acquired with a little difficulty are more cherished.
