Ten months ago, shortly before Lexi's mom died, she told her only daughter who her father was.
Yup, you guessed it, Brian the hockey boss!

And since Lexi hates being all alone in the world, she moved to Raleigh and has been building up the courage to visit her dad for the last months.

And now here she is.... about to become part of the Cold Fury family....

And can a handsome 61 year-old hockey team boss, who's very set in his ways, date a quirky coffee shop owner in her late 40s?☺

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN TO LEXi & ROMAN & LEXi & HER NEW FAMiLY????
WiLL THERE BE A HAPPiLY EVER AFTER FOR ALL OF THEM?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺☺☺

Finally a new book in this adorable Hockey series.

ROMAN!
He's so adorable. And he's so anti-hero-ish!
Such a trouble magnet! Too adorable!
But of course he wants to be better - he doesn't want to be fired from the team!
But falling for the boss's new daughter might also get him in some other kind of troubles!

I just loved it!

I also loved the other little love story in the book - Brian - Lexi's new dad - is kind of interested in Lexi's very colorful boss at the coffee shop - Georgia! Cute!!!

I really enjoyed this book!!
I also loved that we got to see lots of Gray & Ryker in this book!

I cried a lot - it's all so moving, with Lexi finally having a family again and ugh... really adoarable!
And poor and lonely Roman. He never really had a family and he doesn't know what to do with all those new people in his life!

I had some problems with the writing...as with every Sawyer book. It's Sawyer's and my THING ☺ It's only me who has those problems with her writing. So please don't be worried or just scroll down and don't read the following...
I have a HUGE AS problem! And it was extreme in this book!!!☺ You know the AS's I'm talking about? The AS that could be exchanged for a SINCE or BECAUSE ☺ It's a british thing (if it's a thing at all!) and it doesn't have anything to do in an american book by an american author. I would be ok with it if one character would use it, but everyone uses it! I really don't want to insult Sawyer. I love her books, but maybe she should just think about why she's doing it and then please stop doing it. But pfff who am I to tell her what to do, so just forget I said anything! It doesn't stop her books from being great!

ROMAN  was another super-adorable, sexy, funny and moving addition to this great series!
Run to your nearest amazon to fall in love/lust with this Bad-Boy-Hockey-Hottie!!!!!

... and now hurry Sawyer - I want LUC asap!!!!!

Another hockey-hottie?  Sign me up!

Roman is here!  Woo hoo.  He has been the bad boy enforcer through the series, and now it is time to get his story.

And what a story it was, I think this is one of my favourites in the series so far.

I mean, who doesn't like a bad boy?  But Roman is so much more than that, and so is this book.  It is kind of 2 stories in one, as the object of Roman's affection Lexi's life is intertwined with Gray and Brian Brannon, the owners of the Cold Fury.  We get Brian's story too which is an added bonus.

Roman is a very emotional story.  What all the characters go through, not just Roman and Lexi, may or may not have brought a tear to my eye.

I loved that Roman didn't back down from who he was or how he does things.  He is who he is, has been like it all his career and I just want to high five him for sticking it to the man.

But I also adored how he tried to change himself in some aspects. I don't want to spoil things so I won't go into what he does, but I loved his struggle from little boy lost to where he is.

This really is one of my favourite series, and I will always pick them up to read.  Now I am impatiently waiting the next book, Lucas.  Please don't make us wait too long!

Stalking Sawyer...

USA Today Best-Selling Author, Sawyer Bennett is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn't have many weaknesses but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.
