Title: Who We Are
Author: Nicola Haken
Genre: M/M Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 13, 2017
Since putting his life on hold ten years ago, Oliver Clayton doesn’t know who he is anymore. To his clients at the hair salon, he’s the sassy and confident stylist. To the crowds who come to watch his drag act at the club, he’s the fierce and fabulous Miss Tique. He’s popular. Talented. Out, proud, and self-assured.
He’s also a good actor.
Sebastian Day is content with life’s easy, if not a little monotonous, routine. After several failed relationships, he likes the simplicity of being alone in his truck at his job as a heavy goods driver, spending the weekends with his teenage son, and putting the world to rights with his cat, Marv. He’s not lonely. He isn’t hiding.
At least…he doesn’t think he is until he meets the mesmerising stranger with the red hair and purple lips.
Can Oliver and Sebastian help each other embrace who they are? Or will a cruel twist of fate end their journey before it’s even begun?

Every time I read a new Nicola Haken books I tell myself "this is the time I will get through the book without her wrecking me".
And like every other time - I failed.
Who We Areis another beautiful, emotion filled read. From the first moment we met Oliver and Sebastian, I was hooked.
Neither of their lives have been easy, and they could not be two more completely opposite people. Except that makes them perfect for each other. Both good guys, doing what they need to do to get by. But together they are exceptional.
Each time I though there can't be any more thrown at them, BAM, Ms Haken scores a direct hit through the heart. Just as you think you can't get any more emotionally engaged with the characters - BOOM, we were wrong.
I had just been watching Priscilla, Queen of the Desert before I started reading, and the character of Felecia in that kind of reminds me of Oliver (but I don't want to go to far into that and ruin it for you).
Another one knocked out of the ballpark by Ms Haken, and now I am impatiently waiting for more.
Please don't make me wait too long!
