standalone Novel in the Sign of Love Series

5 Stars

A full-length, standalone romance from the New York Times bestselling author of Archer's Voice.

Kira Dallaire is desperate.

Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet.

Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope.

Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. That is until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish, unexpected proposition impossible to refuse.

What begins as a temporary business arrangement, soon evolves into more as vivacious, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself. But as their wills clash and fiery passion ignites, they'll realize that sometimes the past creates walls too difficult to climb, and that lies and deception rarely precede a happily every after.

As Kira and Grayson race toward their destiny, they will discover that some vows are meant to be broken, and others are worth risking everything for . . . even your very own heart.

THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY LIBRA. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Grayson's Vow
is the story about two people down on their luck.
Grayson has been released from prison about a year ago, and ever since, he has tried to stay true to the vow he made to his dad: Save the family vineyard.
His dad never really believed in him. Grayson always tried so hard to be a good kid, a good man, but he always felt he wasn't worth enough for them.
But now's the time to prove them all wrong. To make his dad proud of him - posthumously.
Only problem is, the money ran out long ago ... there could be huge grape harvest, with premium quality grapes, but he doesn't have the money to get all the equipment fixed :/

She's been out of the country for the last year - after some unfortunate events...
She's the daughter of a very prominent man, but she wants - needs to make it on her own.
When she picks up the last of her meager financials in the bank - she accidentally on purpose overhears how this really hot guy Grayson is denied a loan.
And that's when she comes up with one of her many bad ideas:

(the first line of the book:
In a long history of bad days, this one was at the top of the list.)

Grayson & Kira will get married - because then she will have access to the 700k in her grandma's trust!

Only Grayson is not really all that happy about her proposal - even though he's desperate for money.
He thinks that Kira is a spoiled little princess.

Let the fun games begin!!!!

What will happen to Kira & Gray?
Will the fake marriage turn into love?
Will all those secrets destroy everything?
Will there be a HEA?
Will everybody survive???

Every time a new Mia Sheridan book comes out, I can hardly wait to get started.
I was soooo in love with... Archer - Calder and all those guys... and now here we have Grayson and his grapes!

I loved it.
It was such a cute and funny and verrrry moving and sad and beautiful story.
I looove the setting: Napa Valley - I felt like I was right there with them.

I cried a lot ... what poor Grayson had to go through in his young life - as a kid, and then later too.
Ugh - pooooor guy!
And Kira - with her stupid Dad and ex-fiancé - horrible people!

I loved the way Grayson and Kira were attracted to each other, but pretended to hate each other.
She calls him a dragon and he calls her a little witch! ADORABLE!!!!

It takes them a long while to get it right - especially because they kinda started their relationship with a wedding! It's so beautiful to watch them fight through everything, to get to their HEA!!

The story wasn't anything new or all too surprising - it was just a really lovely romance!

Grayson's Vow was an amazingly beautiful and moving and funny romance!
I now want my own Vineyard-owning-dragon please!!!

ARC received for an honest review
I adore Mia Sheridan's writing, so the opportunity to read about Grayson was a no brainer.
Oh how I adored this book.  I loved how Grayson and Kira met, how their relationship came about.  I loved how they bicker with each other, how they love to hate each other.  LOVE their nick names for each other.
But what I loved the most is how that fine line between love and hate is soon blurred.
Oh how things get blurred!
There were a few tears as I read Grayson's Vow, as we learned more about Gray and Kira's pasts.  But the snarky fun times and the sexy-ish times far outweighed the tears.
And I was glad to see that Karma really is a bitch and bit back hard! Can I get a big woohoo! for that!

Grayson's Vow was a lovely, albeit predictable story.  From the time I was about 10% in I knew how the story was going to go, however the journey I was taken on with Ms Sheridan's beautiful writing had me reading in one sitting.

Can't wait to see what she brings us next.

She was everything to me:

my dreams, my weakness,

and the person who made

me want to be strong.

She was the one woman

who showed me I mattered,

that I was wanted.
That I was enough.
