“Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, but trusting them not to.”
How do you live with yourself when you are the reason you lost the one thing that meant the most to you.
Timing is everything and for Reed, he can never seem to catch a break. When Reed returns to Boston to redeem himself he finds that Elle has already moved on, building a new life, a new beginning. He needs her to know that he meant every word before he left, that he never meant to leave her. Will he ever get that chance to tell her?
How do you love again when the one person who made you feel like you were his whole world left you with a broken heart? Hoping that life and new friends could keep her memories and feelings for Reed at bay, Elle chases life and all that it has to offer until she is confronted with heartbreak again.
Is time and space enough to get past losing your once in a lifetime or will Elle be always Wanting Reed?

REVIEW BY JANEANE - ARC RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW
Wanting Reed following on directly from Breaking Elle, so you will need to read it first to get the full effect of this one.
Reed left Elle for a 5 day trip, a month later still no word from him. Elle is left heartbroken, and decides she has to try and move one.
Elle is a feisty and I was glad that even though she is heartbroken, she did not lost that feistiness. She is hurting, but she is still giving lip to her brother and Tyler.
Tyler is her best friend who has been chasing her forever, and as they get closer still, they try to take their relationship to the next level.
But Elle still loves Reed, is still wanting Reed, so things just aren't moving along with Tyler ==> yay! As much as I love Tyler, he just isn't the guy for Elle.
Reed has been in Texas nursing a broken heart. He can't take it anymore, so flies back to Boston to see if he can fix things with Elle. He knows this is going to be a long and hard journey, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right.
I loved the Elle did not just fall over and take Reed straight back. She made him fight for every little thing. Go girl! I hate it when the girl or guy immediately forgives and forgets when they have been so hurt.
Reed's past is still coming back to haunt and cause trouble, ad while I did not always agree with the way he dealt with things, I could understand why he did them.
My heart broke for Tyler, even though I didn't want him to be with Elle. I was happy that he seemed to be happy at the end of the story even though he had a rough road to get there.
This book had me going through a whole range of emotions. I felt angry, sad, heartbroken, amused. There were a few things that were just touched on in Breaking Elle that came to be a much bigger part of Wanting Reed, which I felt made it a well rounded out story.
I loved Elle's 'little' brother Jace. He is acting all the big bad brother. We all need a brother like him!
Wanting Reed was a great way for the Reed/Elle story to come to completion. I felt there was great character development, the overall story was one that kept me hooked, there was enough range in emotion that it didn't become ho-hum.
I enjoy Ms Candela's writing style and am going to make sure I keep an eye out for more of her work.
Antoinette Candela is a little shy with a larger than life personality. Suffering from Peter Pan syndrome, she refuses to grow up. She finds inspiration for her writings from everyday life, through her fun and quirky interactions with friends and family and the drama that never ceases to disappoint.
One thing is for certain, Antoinette lives by her own rules. As a Bostonian she loves the Yankees and is proud to wear her “I Love Derek Jeter “T-shirt. You can catch Antoinette on the beach soaking in the rays, but when the rumble of the thunderstorm rolls in, she’s curled up with a book or tapping away on her keyboard.
Mother, Writer, Reader, Lover of Music and all things learning, Antoinette is the charismatic author of Breaking Elle.
