from London, England, just about to leave sixth form, into a world full of
love, lust, heartbreak and betrayal.
Olivia has had a crush on her teacher, Mr Matthews, for the last six years but what happens when those feelings are reciprocated? And what happens when someone with a grudge against her gets in between her and her dream man?
Forced to face fears from her childhood, Olivia’s life isn’t what she thought it was destined to be, the people in her life aren’t who she thought they were.

My Opinion:
I loved it ☺
London.
Almost 19-year-old Olivia has had a crush on her maths teacher Mr. Matthews for six years now.
They always had a good teacher-student relationship - always talking about their football teams and joking with each other. But now, 3 weeks before Olivia's finished with school she finally realizes that he has feelings for her too. They start seeing each other secretly - they don't want to get into trouble with the school.
They spend 3 wonderful weeks together but then things start to get ugly.
Olivia's Ex Lucas still wants her and he doesn't take NO for an answer - he ends up stalking and harrassing her - and even worse.
Then there's Olivia's sad past. She has been molested by her own uncle as a little girl and she still has nightmares about that.
Plus - some bad people are after her.
Lots of things are happening in the second half of the book....
But ..... I can't tell you ☺
I don't want to spoil your reading pleasure ☺
Maybe I can mention a few little details:
there will be lots of romantic and erotic moments ♥
there will be 2 other young guys - both interested in Olivia
Olivia's parents are almost never home - they both work at the hospital
Mr. Matthews (Jamie) has some secrets of his own
Olivia kind of has the same secret (sounds weird - but you know what I mean when you read it)
Olivia has a favorite uncle: Austin - he's her dad's younger brother and her best friend
Will there be a happy end???
Noooo - I'm not telling you that ;)
GO READ IT YOURSELF!!!!☺
____________________________________________________________
I ENJOYED THE BOOK A LOT
I couldn't put it down - I needed to know what happened with Olivia and Jamie and all the others.
There were sooo many interesting things in that book - maybe a few too many. The first half of the book was this nice sexy student - teacher romance - but then in the second half the s**t hit the fan ☺
Now for the few things that disturbed/annoyed me a bit ☺
no offense please Natalie - I really loved the book ☺
First the writing - there were 2 'styles' that I hadn't read like that in any book before - and I read A LOT!
I know Natalie is british - so maybe it's a british thing - but I read lots of british authors before - so I don't know - maybe a local accent?
She uses a weird kind of writing:
he WAS STOOD watching me
they were both SAT at home
from where I WAS STOOD, I could...
do you know what I mean?? It sounds so very weird to my ears.
and then she uses AS a LOT - she puts AS in the place where I would use a BECAUSE... I've seen that before but not as much - other authors use it once or twice in a book and it's on every page here ☺
I pulled up a few AS I wasn't sure....
he couldn't be here today AS he had to ....
ok that's about the writing ☺
Now about the britishness of the whole book - suppose american people read the book or german people like me - the whole school system references in it won't make a bit of sense to them/us ☺ Registration class?? Revision? Sixth form? When I was in 6th class I was 12 ☺ very weird ☺
NOW about the story ☺
I'm not a huge fan of the student - teacher thing. Because it always feels real creepy and pedophile to me. And it really starts out that way here too - because we don't find out how old Jamie is until 75% of the book - he's only 26!!!! Had Natalie told us that at the beginning I wouldn't have been so creeped out about it. My husband is also 7.5 years older than me ☺ I was really afraid that Mr. Matthews was maybe already 39 or so.
Then the twist thingy that happens around the 78% mark - you will know when you read it - it was soooo horrible - the way Olivia behaved!!!! How can she suddenly do that?? ugh I almost threw my kindle against the wall ☺
The whole second half of the book felt a bit full with events. The first half was only this sweet romantic sexy Romance and then BAM - so many secrets and suspense and whatnot ☺
GRRR it's horrible that I can't really talk about what I mean - because it would just spoil too much...
You just have to go and buy the book yourselves ☺
It's a wonderful New Adult Romance - and as the book cover already suggests: WITH NO FAIRY TALE ENDING...
(did I cry?? YES I did ☺)
and that is why I can't wait for the second book to come out...
and the third one ☺ I sooo need my happy ever after!
Hurry up Natalie - I need to know what will happen!!

ABOUT NATALIE:
STOLEN FROM HER HOMEPAGE
Natalie Graham was born in England, where she resides in a noisy sea-side town with her husband, two children and their hundreds of lizards (there are only 7 really).
She can often be found curled up with a cup of tea and her phone wearing out her Kindle App, hugging her laptop furiously close to her while she writes, or cringing in a corner as she contemplates writing about herself in third person (no it’s not one of her favourite thing to do).
I can’t do it any more.
Seriously.
As I was saying. My life revolves around my family; my husband, my two beautiful daughters and our pets.
I developed my love for reading when I began suffering with anxiety during my second pregnancy. Reading became my escape, but once my baby was born it didn’t work so well any more. Writing took over my escape from my anxiety, but you won’t hear any more on that for a little while.
I’m about to embark on a terrifying journey, and would love for you to come with me.
