Hosting her brother’s wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning’s life. Already the family screw-up, she can’t afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.

Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate’s gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor and he’s the best man? Let the games begin. So what if he’s facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he’s really a good boy with a bad rap. Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you’ve got to make an effort if you want to score.

But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than sexy-times with a giant man-child. Such as: Will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?

Warning: Do not read while sipping hot liquids. Or cold ones. Or while sitting anywhere laughter would be inappropriate. Contains hot but hilarious hockey players, puppies and a snarky pair of underwear.

We all remember Blake from US - he was Wes & Jamie's new neighbor - playing professional hockey in Toronto with Wes. And we also remember how amazing he was. He's this sexy & huge - over-the-top-LOL, fresh-from-the-funniest-frat-house-ever, overgrown-eager puppy guy. You just can't help but love him.

And we also remember Jamie's sister Jess. She came to Toronto last spring to take care of him when he was sick - and she also ran into Blake. Also kind of in the biblical sense too. But that is NEVER happening again.
Especially now, when she has to use all her brainpower to get her brother's perfect wedding planned and over with.
But Blake is not one to walk away quietly when Jess yells at him - just the opposite - the more she's mad at him, the more he falls for her!

Too adorable those two! But what happens once the wedding in California is done and Jess doesn't know what to do with her life?
Is going to Canada to become a nurse the perfect idea? For the first time in her life something feels right.... but of course Blake is there too... Good? Bad??
It's definitely going to be deliciously sexy and adorable! But most of all it's going to be mega hilarious .....

..and also - you need to read the book to meet the star of book #2 Eriksson and most importantly, to see our darling boys Wes & Jamie again! ☺♥

EEEEEEP BLAKE IS BACK!!!
I was already so in love with his craziness in US!!!!
There's nothing in this world that doesn't make BLAKE RILEY SMILEY! ☺☺☺

And now he gets his own lovestory!
With his buddie's big sister!
Only she's not all that interested! ☺☺☺
But Blake wouldn't be Blake if he would let that little fact stop him from putting his mega-flirt-hat on! ☺
Poor Jess doesn't want something serious now, she has to concentrate on school. And serious and Blake are not two words that belong together anyway. But is he really only this stupidly funny guy he always seems to be? Of course not. He's just enjoying life. And I just LOVE that about him. He's so perfectly happy in his life and he's infecting all those around him with his joy! He bounces through life like a happy puppy! He's such a good and kind and honest guy. I just love him!

Of course we also have our little problems here and there - Blake might have some trouble from the past show up. And Jess has her own troubles with school and money .... but nothing they can't fight through...

Of course it takes a while for Jess to finally get that this is her happily ever after guy... but we'll have the most amazing reading-hours in the meantime!

This book has everything an amazing book needs:
Hilariously funny moments. Sexy moments. Moving moments. Adorable moments. Romantic moments. Just ... everything.
Nothing not to love about this story.

Oh, maybe a tiny little thing... the cover? Uhm, dogs aren't even mentioned until 60% into the book. I think the cover would've been ok if Blake had a beloved dog at home to join him in his craziness, but he doesn't....so I don't really get the cover. I'm ok with the title, especially because Blake comes across as this huge happy puppy. But the cover is just weird and not fitting the story at all.
BUT - that didn't stop me from LOVING the hell out of this book!!!!

GOOD BOY was the most adorable & hilarious & sexy romance!!!
Run to your nearest amazon for your own Blakey! But hurry, he'll be sold out in no time! ☺

ARC received for an honest review

Yesssss!! Blake is back, back again.  Blake is back, tell a friend!

I (eventually) fell in love with Blake in the book Us, when he became Jamie and Wes' new neighbour in Toronto.  He and his c-blocking ways annoyed me when I first met him, but that didn't last long.

If you have read Us and Him, you have also met Jamie's sister Jess.  I adore her and all her indecisiveness.  I feel for her when her family are kinda condescending to her, I want her to give them all (except the beautiful Jamester) the big finger for a while there.

I love that Blake goes for it, doesn't give in and doesn't let Jess give in either - as much as she tries to fight him!  I mean, she does make Blake Riley Smiley.

Oh that is another thing, I freaking love all of Blake's sayings.  They are cheesey  and funny and just make me laugh out loud.

Of course things never run smoothly for our lovelies, but it is great that there is not toooo much drama or angst, and that they act like adults!

I really did adore Good Boy, and can't wait for more in the WAGs series.  Please don't leave me waiting too long ladies!
