5 Stars

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant; hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.
Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn't bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.
Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

Dating a prince isn't what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.
There's a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they've traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven't chopped anyone's head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.
But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.
Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

Finally something completely new by Emma Chase!
After LOL Male RomComs and Lawyer-hotties, we're now faced with a Playboy Prince!

Nicholas is heir to the throne of fictional european country Wessco. His parents died many years ago and now he only has his brother and grandma Queen left.

And the paparazzi. They are the most important people in his life. Ever since before he was even born. They're everywhere, all the time.
As soon as he's seen with a girl - they're already speculating about the wedding...
But even though Nicholas is very interested in partaking in everything the female world has to offer - he is SO not ready to get married.
But Grandma Queen is SO ready to get him married to save the royal family's reputation.
He has five months to find the perfect princess - from a list of suitable girls of course.

But first he's off to New York to find and bring home his idiot little brother.

That's where he meets her.
Olivia. A typical New Yorker girl fighting to stay alive with her family baking business. So not the right choice for a future King.

But the prince's d*ck, errr, heart wants what the prince's heart wants.
Only Olivia is so not impressed by his royalness - at first.☺☺☺

OK, yes, I know. The whole royal prince and princess cinderella thing has been romance-noveled a billion times before. And most of those times in those little thingies your great-aunt buys while waiting in the grocery store check-out line...
But we all love those stories. We all want to be the princess the prince risks everything for.

And this was just such a story. Not old-fashioned at all, like you would maybe expect.
ROYALLY SCREWED was a really adorable and funny and sexy and beautiful love story. It even makes us cry a few times!

We have this adorable & sexy Prince and this cute down-to-earth New York girl.
Two people from two very different places in society.
But opposites attract and all that. Olivia and Nicholas are just perfect for each other.
Of course it takes them a while to realize that themselves. And it takes even longer to accept it and be accepted by everyone else.
But we have a lot of fun on the way to their Happily Ever After!!!

We have an amazing cast of siblings, best friends, strict Queens and adorably ugly dogs... Perfect casting and location director! ☺

I think I have nothing to complain about!☺

ROYALLY SCREWED was an amazingly adorable first book in this new Royal series! FUNNY, SEXY, ADORABLE & MOVING! Run to your nearest amazon for your own dose of Prince Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook! ☺

...and now please Emma...HURRY... I WANT HENRY'S book asap!!
He was one of the highlights in this first book! He'll probably take a few years off his granny's life in the next book!☺☺☺

ARC received for an honest review

Woot woot!  A new novel, and a new series from Emma Chase.

It seems like forever since we have had anything new from Emma (that isn't really true, but it feels like it) and this first installment of the Royals series has me chomping at the bit for more.

Royally Screwed has a kind of The Prince and Me/Mary and Frederick kind of vibe to it - you know, the royal falling for a commoner.  And though you might think that this Cinderella-y story has been done every which way, but if you are like me, you will still read and love every story like it.

Cos come on, what girl doesn't hope that her Prince Charming will come walking through the door.

Nicholas and Olivia were just beautiful and wonderful and amazing for each other.  The Prince with a nation's future on his shoulders and a witty New York girl with her family's future on hers.

And as different as they are, the are just perfect for each other.

From indecent proposals to the end, I thoroughly enjoyed Royally Screwed.

And boy oh boy, are you going to love Nicholas' brother Henry ... just think Prince Harry running amok in Vegas and you will have the picture!

Royally Screwed is a sweet, sexy adorable story, and now I am impatiently waiting for the next book... that boy Henry is gonna give Nicholas and his grandma a few grey hairs!

She’s even lovelier than I remembered, than I dreamed. Delicate midnight tendrils frame a face that belongs in a museum—with stunning dark sapphire eyes that should be commemorated in vibrant oils and soft watercolors. If Helen launched a thousand ships, this girl could raise a thousand hard-ons.
She’s prettily made, the top of her head coming only to my chin, but fantastically curvy. Great full tits that strain the buttons of a wrinkled white blouse, shapely hips in a black skirt tapering to a tiny waist I could wrap my hands around and toned legs encased in sheer black tights finish off the whole package very nicely.
An unfamiliar anxiousness fizzes like soda in my gut.
“The door was open,” I explain.
“It’s broken.”
Logan flicks at the lock. Security is his life, so a broken lock would annoy him like a puzzle with the final piece missing.
“What do you want?”
She has no idea who I am. It’s in the defensive way she holds herself and the accusatory note in her voice. Some women try to pretend they don’t recognize me, but I can always tell. Her ignorance is rather…thrilling. There are no expectations, no hidden agendas, no reasons to pretend—what she sees is what she gets. And all she sees is me.
My throat is suddenly a barren wasteland. I swallow, but it’s difficult.
“Well, he’s desperate for some pie.” I hook my thumb at Simon. “And I…wanted to apologize for the other evening. I don’t normally act that way. I was on a bit of bender…”
“In my experience, people don’t do things when they’re drunk that they wouldn’t do normally.”
“No, you’re right. I would’ve thought all those things, but I never would’ve said them out loud.” I move closer, slowly. “And if I’d been sober…my opening bid would’ve been much higher.”
“She crosses her arms. “Are you trying to be cute?”
“No. I don’t have to try…it just sort of happens.”

Stalk Emma on:

By day, Emma Chase is a devoted wife and mother of two who resides in a small, rural town in New Jersey. By night she is a keyboard crusader, toiling away the hours to bring her colorful characters and their endless antics to life. She has a long standing love/hate relationship with caffeine.

Emma is an avid reader. Before her children were born she was known to consume whole books in a single day. Writing has also always been a passion and with the 2013 release of her debut romantic comedy, Tangled, the ability to now call herself an author is nothing less than a dream come true.
