Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily-ever-after? Meanwhile, Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and . . . yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes---or at least, a certain deliciously hunky billionaire---maybe do exist.
Except Brock Wellington isn't anyone's dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk---even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it's karmic retribution that he's tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can't have. But while they can't have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy . .

Yes! I new series from RVD! And to me, this woman can do no wrong!
And with The Bachelor Auction, she has written a whimsical homage to Cinderella - complete with horrible sisters!
Jane has been the doormat to her two spoilt sisters for years. Gah, I wanted to shake some sense into her in the hopes that she would grow a backbone and tell these two witches where to go.
Then again, if it wasn't for the two beastly sisters, she would never have met her Prince Charming, the rich and beautiful Brock Wellington.
Actually, at times I wished that he would grow a pair and stand up to his grandfather! So they really were as bad as each other throughout!
But all of it is nothing when it comes to the two of them together -there is laughter and hijinx, sass and snark. And OMG the heat between them is through the roof.
And when Brock's brothers become more involved in things - things become awkward at times, but downright hilarious too. And what is it with Ms Van Dyken's characters and the trouble they have with animals.
The thing I was most excited about when the story progressed, and the name Titus was mentioned... would we see any of Grandma Nadine/ And I am please do say we did and she is as outrageous as ever!
Through it all, I just hoped, needed to know that this Cinderalla had found her Prince Charming.
But to find out you will have to read for yourself.
Ms Van Dyken is one of my must read authors. It doesn't if she is writing her mafia boys or her romantic comedies, everything I have picked up I have adored.
Now I can't wait to see what she does with Brant and Bentley!
Rachel Van Dyken is the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Bestselling author of regency and contemporary romances. When she's not writing you can find her drinking coffee at Starbucks and plotting her next book while watching The Bachelor.
She keeps her home in Idaho with her Husband, adorable son, and two snoring boxers! She loves to hear from readers!
