Meg Rosenthal: Matchmaker by day, realist by night, Meg is not about to get swept away by a charming, darkly handsome businessman in a designer suit.
She’s come to a beautiful secluded resort to evaluate the private island’s potential for her agency, not to ogle its owner. But there’s something about the magnetic man that’s hard to resist, even for a woman who refuses to fall in love.
Valentino Masini: A successful and drop-dead sexy businessman, Valentino is used to having the finer things in life. Yet he’s never wanted someone the way he wants Meg, who’s stirring up a hurricane of trouble in his heart. But just as he decides to convince her to stay, someone else decides it might be time to get Meg off the island...permanently.
ARC received for an honest review
I am not sure how first stumbled across the Weekday Brides series, but I am
glad I did and have enjoyed every book I have read so far.
And Seduced by Sunday is no exception.
I love this series about the women of Alliance and the men that steal their
hearts.
First impressions are so important - and Meg's first impression is that Val
is an ass. An ass he may be, but he is a hot and sexy ass!
And Meg is a pain in Val's arse - one that he can't stop thinking about.
Oh how I love this pair. From the minute they butt heads via email, I
just knew that they were going to be fun and feisty, and things would be
hot. Their attraction is instant, the sparks fly between them and come
across as a bit combative, a little bit sasssy and smart-mouthy.
And behind it all you can feel the pull between them and you know it is not
going to be long before things heat up.
There is a bit of mystery and intrigue thrown into the mix to, just to
spice things up a little.
I loved that we got a bit more of each of the other ladies and gents from
the Weekday Bride series. This rag tag bunch of friends are just
wonderful, giving each other grief like only truly good friends can do.
She has woven all their stories so seamlessly together, that each book in the
series is like coming home to a big family reunion,
Though this is Meg's story, I was sooooo happy that Judy's brother Michael
is getting some happy in his life.
But I have to say the one that stole the show whenever she was in a scene
was Val's mum. She was that stereotypical Italian mother, completely
invested in her kids lives, full of opinions and just great!
So, do Meg and Val get their HEA, or will things conspire against them and
keep them apart?
Nope, you will have to read to find out for yourself.
Ms Bybee has created a series that you cannot help but love. Each and
every book in the series just impresses me more and more. What am I ever
going to do when this series ends??
