Allegra is Aria's little sister and Jared is Sarah's farmer cousin.
Allegra came to Scotland five years ago and fell in love with everything. Her artist heart was happy for the first time in a really long while. But she still had to go back home to finish art school. And now it seems as if Scotland doesn't want her anymore - she won't be allowed back into the country because she's been here too often and they think she is living there illegally.
And Jared. He inherited his grandpa's farm and it's not going good. Bad weather and dying equipment is killing the farm. He needs money!
Maybe Allegra and Jared can help each other...
What might complicate things is that Allegra has been half in love with Jared for five years - since that first night they met!
The next book in Sam's Highland series!And it was just as great as the previous books! So cute and sweet and sparky and funny and a bit heartbreaking and of course we also get some drama, danger and mystery.
I loved reading it.
There's not much you can say about a Sam Young book that hasn't been said before. I just love her books. I could read one every week for the rest of time!
Like I already said in my reviews for the other Highland and Adair books - I could totally imagine this as an amazing Netflix show. We already basically 'see' everything Sam writes about. She describes everything so beautifully. The people, the places... everything. I really need to see this on the screen!
