Phoebe has just been 'let go' at her real estate job in LA. Just because she wanted to help a colleague... that seems to be a thing with her...helping people. No more, she decides and takes her friend Maya up on her invitation to visit her step-brother's ranch in Fool's Gold...
Zane has been raising his now 17 year old brother Chase for what seems like forever. And that boy is intent on giving him prematurely gray hair. He's too smart for his own good...his latest gray-hair-thing: he and a friend had to create a website for school and it all got a teeeny little bit out of control. Resulting in a handful of tourists booking a non-existant cattle-drive holiday at Zane's ranch. ☺
...and this cattle-drive - horrible as it already is, with all those untrained tourist-wannabe-cowboys...it's even worse for Zane, because his sister's beautiful and very distracting friend is constantly near him.

Finally a bunch of new people to fall in love with!
Zane and Phoebe were soooo adorable.
Zane is trying so hard to stay away from her. And poor Phoebe is totally crushing on this sexy cowboy - who doesn't seem to like her all that much ☺ Too funny the way those two dance around each other!
And even though this book focuses on their love story, we have a whole bunch of other characters in this book too: the charming little brother Chase... I'm sure he'll get his own FG book in a few years ☺
Then there are the two orphan siblings who just want to find a family to adopt them.
And of course the town's geriatric darlings Eddie and Gladys will be joining the cattle-drive too ☺
I loved every second of the book - I finished it in one afternoon :(((
