After ending her 5 year relationship, pregnant and newly single Megan has sworn off men.

Off to London to help her best friend with wedding preparations, she is dragged out one night to a bar.

Here she catches the eye of Mark - he is very interested and won't take no for an answer.

Megan has lost trust in men, and Mark will do whatever he has to to earn it.

The premise and the story of this book were good, however I felt the writing let it down a bit.

It may be just me, but the lack of abbreviation started to annoy me - all the I will's and the you are's instead of I'll and You're made the conversations feel like they were happening amongst strangers, not best friends and couples falling in love.

But again, this may just be me.

L Chapman has the ideas right, it just needs finessing. I am sure these little things will be ironed out for book 2, as I think there is more to Megan and Mark's than meets the eye.
