✪ Verity ✪ Colleen Hoover ✪

The word-of-mouth hit psychological suspense with an unforgettable twist, from the author of TikTok sensation It Ends With Us

A thriller guaranteed to keep you up all night, with a twist that will leave you reeling . . . The TikTok sensation that you'll recommend to everyone you know.

Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of the night their family was forever altered.

Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already-grieving father. But as Lowen's feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife's words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue loving her . . .

Firstly, why oh why have I waited all these years to read Verity?

Secondly, what in the everloving?

Ever since Verity first hit the shelves a couple of years ago, I have been hearing what a mind eff it is, how you ever see what is coming, and why, Colleen Hoover, just why?

And now I get it. As I was reading I was all "yeah, I got this, and "yep, I know what is going to happen here."

Wrong. So wrong,  Whilst yes I knew what was happening with one thing (there are plenty of clues to that one), but What, The. Eff??  Ms Hoover leaves it right to the end to blow. my. mind.

Hours later and I am still trying to get my head around what I read.

Well played, Ms Hoover, well played.

This is what I call an anti-gravity book - because I just couldn't put it down. I needed to know what happened on the next page, I needed to know if I was right with what I thought.

It is just freaking amazing

I will be thinking about this book for days.
