JUST BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't wait to get started with this.
Some readers might be a bit hesitant to read Marie's story - because she kinda wanted to steal our darling pilot Jonah from our Calla. But she didn't. She couldn't!
And now she deserves her own happy end.
And it was beautiful.
I just love this whole Alaska feel of the book(s).
The snow. The animals. The cozy little cabins. The cold. The sexy beardy men. Kathleen writes this all so beautifully, you really feel as if you're right there crunching through the snow with your big boots and hearing the dog's excited barks. Ugh. I just love the writing and the way it makes us feel so close to everything.
And the story of course.
Poor Marie. She's been in love with Jonah for so long and no one else ever interested her for more than a few nights.
And now here's this arrogant new guy with his amazing dogs...
I just loved those two together!
They're so extremely attracted to each other, and Marie would love to finally find the right guy and have a family. But Tyler is nowhere near to being ready for that. But we won't give up - we'll get there in the end ... it might just take them a tiny little while.
And the reader loves every single world on that journey!
And every single doggie!!!! 🐕
And as amazing as this book and this series is... once we're done reading ... we still want more. So much more. I wish this series would never end! I could definitely see at least one more story with a slightly younger generation in our future! 😉

And then ... please Netflix. Come and make a show out of this. PLEASE! We haven't had a good Alaska thingy since Men in Trees and these books are so much better!
