Just like the all the books in this series, this one was great too!
It was adorable and funny and sparky and mysterious and small-towny. I loved reading it. Poor Carson finally gets a chance at a happily ever after - but did he choose the right girl?? He kinda thinks that she's a criminal - but we know that she's kinda not, but also kinda a little bit connected maybe... LOL. It was a really cute small town love story!
I really need to see this town on Netflix one day!

Back to Mudville - Woot!
It seems an age since were were in Mudville, and I was so happy that we got Deputy Carson's story.
You can feel how conflicted he is - he's wary of Kayleigh and thinks she's a crim, but man oh man is he intrigued and having lustful thoughts of her at the same time.
It really is just adorably cute and I want to sit in the bar and watch them fall in love.
I adore the residents of Mudville, and the "old biddies" had me cracking up laughing,
I want to move to Mudville, STAT!
Can't wait to see what else Ms Johnson brings us.
