From the New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new series about three brothers, the job that calls them, and the women who challenge them.
“I hate you. I never want to see you again.”
Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again.
Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past.
But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it.
What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right?

I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves.
That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up.
Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story.
The three Malone brothers Grant, Grayson and Grady are the heroes of this new series by K. Bromberg.
The oldest one - Grant - is a cop - just like his dad.
Until one day in 3rd grade, Grant used to be the bestest of friends with Emerson.
But since that day twenty years have gone by.
She left school that day and never came back. And she hates him for breaking his pinky promise back then.
But she doesn't really hate him. She's already halfway in love with the man the boy has become. But he also reminds her of that horrible time 20 years ago.
But he's not giving up that easily! He will fight for her - even if he might have to Cuff her ;)
Let the games begin!!!

What will happen with Emmy & Grant?
Will there be a happily ever after?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺
ADORABLE!
Can it be called a second-chance love story when both were only eight years old the last time they saw each other? I think it can. They used to be best friends. Grant's mom was already dreaming of their wedding back then! ☺
And now Em is back in town. But she fights against that attraction every time they see each other. Adorable but totally useless of course!☺
Grant is totally charmed by his old friend. He wants something serious with her, but he has to work for it! It won't be easy - but the reader has an amazing time watching them fight for their happy end!
Great romance with lots of funny and adorable moments and sexy moments, but also lots of very moving moments and exciting moments.
Can't wait to read the other two stories!
We have one young firefighter and one single dad rescue pilot!!! HURRY KRISTY!
CUFFED was an amazingly adorable & moving love story! But just so you know ... Grant is MINE - so go run to your nearest amazon to get your own!!!
Were there a few tiny little things that I didn't love? Nothing major - so don't worry - they're probably only due to my special brand of reader-weirdness!!
First - the cover. It's pretty hot - even though the guy looks like a weird stripper☺ - BUT - it doesn't fit the serious parts of the story. And the story has a lot of very serious parts. I think the cover 'cheapens' or downplays that a bit. Or maybe it's meant to un-serious the serious parts on purpose. But I would've chosen another cover. No idea what would've been better, but a cover expert could've found something. ☺
The next thing. The book was a tiny little bit too long. I love long books and interesting and huge stories. But this was a bit too long - a little bit here and there cut out wouldn't have hurt this great story.
Oh and one last thing - again, only my reading-weirdness. I hate it when I don't know where I am. I know we're in Sunnyville. But that's just a made up name. I don't even know the state! I went with California in my head, because the ocean was mentioned. I need real places in my books. I need to be able to picture the story in a real place. It can still be a fictional town if it has to, but then I need to know the country/state!
Oy, I just thought of another thing. The bad-cop-guy Stetson. What was that with him? He and the whole story about his dad and how bad they both are, was mentioned so often and I was constantly afraid something would happen with him, but pfff, nothing at all? Why mention him and his father at all? Weird. That's maybe some of the things that could've been cut to make the book a tiny little bit shorter ;)
THE END!
All that ↑ doesn't make the book bad in any way. I loved the story! It's - or rather the Malone boys are - very swoon-worthy and you might also cry a few tears!!!
ARC received for an honest review
HOT COP ALERT!!
I just finished reading Cuffed and I only have 3 little words...
Cuff me, Malone!
From the first reunion till the last sparkling words, I was hooked on this new series.
Grant and Emerson's tale is a very heartbreaking one of the suck it and sweet moments of life. I can't tell you how many times I cried at my kindle, yelled at the characters and just wanted to make things better.
Grant is all kinds of knight in shining armour, running to the rescue of those in need - and not just because of his job.
Seriously, we all need one of him in our lives.
I adore Emerson, and you will too..
Now, I do have one slight problem with this book.
I have a younger brother named Grant so it is a bit icky to think of hot cop being a Grant!
I really enjoyed reading Cuffed, and now I am looking forward to reading Grant's brother's stories.
Please don't keep us waiting too long Ms Bromberg.
New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes
contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of
sexy and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged
heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.
She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy,
intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears
her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and
three children where they live in Southern California.
On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this
writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled,
Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache,
Hard Beat, and Down Shift (Releasing 10/4/16)), and a short story titled
UnRaveled. She is currently finishing up Sweet Cheeks a standalone novel out at
the end of 2016.
Her plans for 2017 include a sports romance duet (The Player
(#1) and The Catch (#2)) and the Everyday Heroes series (Cuffed (#1), Combust
(#2), and Cockpit (#3). She’s also writing a novella for the 1,001 Dark Night
series that will be out in February 2017.
