A few chapters into this book, I said to myself "this has The Inheritence Games vibes", and as I loved The Inheritance Games, I was all in for The Rosewood Hunt.
Lily Rosewood's life is upended when her grandmother dies and the family fortune is found to be missing.
With her Scooby Gang of family and friends, she follows the clues to find out what happened.
I guessed pretty early on who the bad guys in the tale are, so it was just a matter of time till I found out how that part would play out.
Whilst i enjoyed the story, I did find that it was lacking a bi of oomph, a bit of drama and action that, to me at least, I felt it needed.
I liked the friendships, old and new that grew amongst Lily and her friends, and was glad of the way some of the relationships blossomed and grew.
i did enjoy this enough that I would read more by this debut author in the future.
