ϟ WIcked Beauty (Dark Olympus #3) ϟ Katee Robert ϟ

  Release date: 7th June 2022

Greek myths get unspeakably hot new twists in this contemporary series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katee Robert

Achilles Kallis vowed that he'd do whatever it took to claw his way into Olympus's inner circle. Now that the former Ares is gone and the coveted role has opened to anyone with the strength to claim it, he and his partner, Patroclus Fotos, plan to both compete and double their odds of winning. Neither expect the infamous beauty Helen Kasios to be part of the prize...or for the sparks that fly when the three of them meet.

Zeus may have decided Helen is his to give away, but she has her own plans. She enters the competition as a middle finger to the meddling Thirteen, effectively vying for her own hand in marriage. The only people she can trust are the ones she can't quite keep her hands off — Achilles and Patroclus. But even they might not be strong enough to help her face the worst Olympus has to throw at them...

Copy received from New South Books for an honest review

I have read many of Katee Robert's books in the past, however this is the first of the Dark Olympus books.

Where have i been and why had I not heard of this series before?

I love history and Greek myths and legends, so I was very keen to read this one. Now, I will say that it is more like KR has taken the names of the Greek legends rather than a retelling, but that is also not a bad thing.

I adored our strong female in Helen.  She is always just the other sister, the one that the family can push around and is theirs to do what they want with. I loved that she stood up, gave them a big middle finger and did what she wanted, no matter what was thrown at her. *chef's kiss* to this

Achilles and Patroclus are goals. Through thick and thin they make their way through life.  Though I think that they need to have a couple of conversations to sort out the fragility of some of their feelings.  They kind of got swept under the rug so the throuple relationship could be up front - I mean, I like the three of them together, but I wanted more of the guys alone,

I now want to go back and read the previous two books, and look forward to what this series brings us in the future.
