From #1 New York Times bestselling author of Verity and Regretting You.
Beyah comes from a life of poverty and neglect; Samson from a family of wealth.
When the two find themselves spending the summer as neighbors, they soon realize money is one of the few things they don't have in common.
Their bond is too intense to ignore, but with only ten weeks separating them from the start of their new lives on opposite ends of the country, Beyah and Samson decide to stay in the shallow end of a summer fling.
This book starts in 2015. Beyah is 19. She's living in a trailer park in Kentucky with her mom.
Her dad pays the rent and she visits him once a year. He doesn't know how bad it is.
He probably doesn't want to know. And it's really bad.
Beyah is about to start college in the fall and what better way to spend her last summer as a 'kid' than joining her dad and his new wife and step daughter in their Texas beach house?
A beach house complete with a mysterious and very hot neighbor.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH BEYAH & SAMSON?
WILL THERE BE A HEA??
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT ☺

Every Colleen Hoover book that arrives on my kindle scares me a little at first. You never know what you're gonna get. But you kinda also know that it will be amazing and horribly emotional and sad and heartbreaking and beautiful.
And Heart Bones was just that.
I loved reading this book!
In the first few chapters we feel very sorry for Beyah, but we also hate her a tiny bit. She's very ... hm ... negative, bitter. She never had anything nice or good in her life, so I get why she doesn't trust any kind of good thing that comes her way. But she's getting used to her new summer life.
Her dad and his wife are really nice and her step sister is pretty great. And of course our hot neighbor Samson is very interesting. And he's a bit sad and mysterious too. We don't yet know what his story is...but we want to find out.
But we're also afraid of those four/five years that will probably go by until they'll see each other again after that summer. Because...remember? We're in 2015! But don't worry, that won't happen until the last quarter of the book. Let's first enjoy our summer!
Ugh. I want that happily ever after right the eff now!
But we enjoy every teary second of their journey to that happy end - which I reallly hope will happen ...☺
And I so want to see this on Netflix please!!!

You could have heard me squee if you were on Mars when I found an early copy of Heart Bones sitting on my Kindle.
Colleen Hoover is an author who has never, ever let me down with her books. It has been a while since I read one of her books (I know, I know, you don't have to tell me), but what a book to come back to the fold with.
This book starts off with terrible events, and I was waiting for the other shoe to drop the whole time I was reading. I just know that at some time (if not the entire time I am reading) that I am going to have my heart ripped out.
Beyah and Samson's tale had me on the edge the whole time. We know Beyah's story, but there is something Samson is not revealing to us, and as much as you might think you know what is going on, I bet you you don't.
And I need to know what it is.
The last 25% of Heart Bones really ramps things up. This last part was very emotional. I could feel myself tearing up as events unfolded. I knew it was coming, it always is with a CoHo.
Well played Ms Hoover. Well played.
Buy this book and devour it, you won't be disappointed.
