My name is Courtney Jane Salinger...
and I'm sick of games.
Sick of the Friday night bar-scene-cum-meat-market.
Sick of the boy-girl, man-woman, mars-venus, flirtation-without-expectation, game-playing nonsense.
Sick of awful dates and one-night stands, booty calls and guys who don’t call back, mixed messages or NO messages and—and—and...I'm sick of all of it.
I’m done.
I just can't do it anymore.
It's too hard, and worse: little by little, it's making me hard.
It's breaking my heart.
What do I want?
That's easy.
I want a house in suburbia with a white picket fence.
I want babies to buckle into a minivan.
But most of all, I want to be married.
I want a husband.
So I've made an important decision: I'm making my escape from the dating world and the single life.
I've filled out my application on ArrangeMe.com and I'm putting my fate into the hands of experts.
Is it a little scary?
Sure.
I mean, I have no idea who I'll end up with.
After all, I'm planning to marry a complete stranger.
But between you and me?
I can't wait.
Being arranged can't possibly be worse than being single.
Can it?
Courtney's had it with dating! She's never meeting any guys worth getting serious with.
She's a successful and okay looking woman on Wall Street - she should be able to find someone?! She wants the house in the suburbs, the picket fence, the kids and the mini van!
But since it hasn't happened yet - on to plan B! She discovers this Marriage-At-First-Sight company. You pay a fee and fill out a huge survey and they'll match you with your perfect husband.
She can't wait to finally be married.
But then there's this guy she's seen once every week for a year at the bar - and now - now that she's finally decided to stop dating - he's seems interested in her! Grrrr. Nope! Her mind's made up and he's way too young to be looking for something serious!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO COURTNEY???
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺
Well, that was so adorable!!!!
Such a sweet and funny and kind of hopeless romance! LOL!
I just adored Courtney and her journey to her happily ever after.
Is it with a stranger or with someone we already fell for while planning to get married to a stranger???
I'm not telling you that - BUT - there will be a sequel - very soon.☺
(Don't worry - there's just a little bit of a cliffy!)

ARC received for an honest review
Get away from the idiot box, and that horrible show Married At First Sight, and dive into Arrange Me.
I have seen the name Katy Regnery around book world for a long time now, however this is my first Katy Regnery read.
And what a sweet and refreshing read it is. I have been reading a lot of crime and darker stories lately, and Arrange Me is the perfect read to get me out of the darker book space.
I am sure we have all been in the same headspace as Courtney, sick of dating, sick of kissing the toads to get to the prince. I am not sure I would go as far as she does though! That's one heck of a big step to take!
There was something that I really hoped would happen, but you will need to read for yourself to find out what it is.
I laughed, I was full of hope and love for Courtney and her journey. There is a second part to this story to come, and I can't wait to see where we go next.
