Adorable!I already loved the story of Teagan's brother and this second book was just as cute.An adorable small-town romance.
It's funny and sweet and sparky. But we also get a bit of heartbreak and some personal struggles and some mystery too. Why doesn't Aaron like Teagan? What is Teagan hiding? What is Aaron hiding? We might find out! 😎
I really enjoyed reading this!
It was so cute and small towny, but also so very struggly - for both our darlings. Aaron has a few secret things from his past that he hasn't really dealt with. And poor Teagan is working herself to death, because she doesn't know how to stop. And because no one ever taught her how to deal with things the right way.
But of course this is a sweet romance - so we'll get that happy end - but it's a bit of a fight for our two cuties!
But anyway - I really liked reading this!
Can't wait to read the next book! Will the jailed brother get his own story or Dillion's brother?? GIMME!

Phew - I liked this second installment of the Lakeside series a lot better than the first.
I enjoyed getting back to the Lake and it's eclectic residents. I totally get the small town vibe where everyone is in your business - I did the tree change, and you can't fart in your bathroom without someone 3 streets over commenting on it lol
I like Teagan and how she is is finally branching out after floundering for a while.
This time I did like Van and Dillion a lot better than their own book lol
Aaron has his own dramas, and at times I got frustrated with him, but I knew he just needed time to find his way.
This pair together could have been an absolute trainwreck. But I knew Ms Hunting would not lead us - or them - wrong and it was quite a ride for them to get there.
There are so many characters I need to know more about. What will happen with Teagan and Van's brother is the one I am keen to know more about.
