New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, is back with a heartfelt, enemies to lovers romance and a hero who redeems himself to steal your heart . . .

He was the one-night stand that didn’t exactly go as planned. Now he’s standing before me as if he’s never seen me naked, telling my manager he’ll take the job. Reluctantly.

Finn Sanderson.

Sports agent extraordinaire. Handsome as hell. The man who just signed on to control my every move.

Sure, I’m to blame for my recent bad press, but when your whole life has been so regimented, isn’t it normal to want to live it up a little?

But when the partying stops and the grief I’m running from has nowhere else to hide, reality sets in. Turns out, Finn’s the only person I have left to help pick up the pieces. The only person to call.

Staying with him is a temporary thing. But when our fighting turns into laughter and our friendship turns into something more, will I fight for a man who swears he’s hard to love? Or is it wiser to walk away? To follow the plan?

* * *

Offering to help with a client is a way to repay a long overdue IOU to my mentor. Little did I know she was the woman who left my hotel room at four in the morning.

Stevie Lancaster.

Top-seeded US tennis player. Good girl gone bad. The woman currently about to throw her career away. And now my problem.

The compensation to “babysit” her is great, but she isn’t worth my trouble.

But when her world falls apart and she has no one else to turn to, I try to be a good guy by gathering her up and hiding her from the media’s eye.

Now she’s in my house, in my space, and even though I’m enjoying the side benefits of this unexpected arrangement, surely she’s better to leave when the time comes and follow her destiny. Because I’m not the man she needs. Not the man she could love. Right?

Stevie + Finn.

He's a hugely successful bada§§ sports agent and his new job is a favor for the guy who first gave him a chance in this business.
He's supposed to babysit tennis superstar Stevie.
She's had a rough time since her dad died. She's partying too hard, has been in the press too much for non-tennis related things, et cetera.
Finn is supposed to keep her on track, to get her back to winning games.
And Finn is also the guy she had an almost-half-night-stand with last night! 🤣

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN...

Finally Finn's book!
We've been hate-loving him since book #1. 🤣

I really enjoyed reading this. I didn't immediately love-love Stevie though. It took some time to warm up to her. But she's just hiding behind this wild persona. She's hurt and lost and Finn is just the right person for her.
They're so adorable together!
And then they have to live together for two months while Stevie's trying to get ready for the US Open. Adorable! And sexy and sweet. So not the Finn we know!
This was a really cute and slightly heartbreaking love story. It wasn't anything über-new or exciting, it was just cute and sexy and we just love Finn!

And I also wouldn't mind seeing this as a sports-rom-com series on Netflix one day! ☺

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.
She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California.
On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift (Releasing 10/4/16)), and a short story titled UnRaveled. She is currently finishing up Sweet Cheeks a standalone novel out at the end of 2016.
Her plans for 2017 include a sports romance duet (The Player (#1) and The Catch (#2)) and the Everyday Heroes series (Cuffed (#1), Combust (#2), and Cockpit (#3). She also published a novella for the 1,001 Dark Night series.
She loves to hear from her readers so make sure you check her out on social media.
