New York Times bestselling author of SHACKING UP and I FLIPPING LOVE YOU Helena Hunting mixes humor and heart in this scandal-filled romantic comedy.
HE WANTS TO LOSE CONTROL.
Between his parents’ messed up marriage and his narcissistic younger brother, Lincoln Moorehead has spent the majority of his life avoiding his family. After the death of his father, Lincoln finds himself in the middle of the drama. To top it all off, he’s been named CEO of Moorehead Media, much to his brother’s chagrin. But Lincoln’s bad attitude softens when he meets the no-nonsense, gorgeous woman who has been given the task of transforming him from the gruff, wilderness guy to a suave businessman.
SHE’S TRYING TO HOLD IT TOGETHER.
Wren Sterling has been working double time to keep the indiscretions at Moorehead Media at bay, so when she’s presented with a new contract, with new responsibilities and additional incentives, she agrees. Working with the reclusive oldest son of a ridiculously entitled family is worth the hassle if it means she’s that much closer to pursuing her own dreams. What Wren doesn’t expect is to find herself attracted to him, or for it to be mutual. And she certainly doesn’t expect to fall for Lincoln. But when a shocking new Moorehead scandal comes to light, she’s forced to choose between her own family and the broody, cynical CEO.
Lincoln's father just died and his grandma wants him to take over the family business. Because his idiot of a brother Armstrong would run it into the ground within months.
Lincoln hates New York. He wants to build houses in Guatemala!
But he promised grandma he'll stay for six months.
Enter Wren. She's been hired by Lincoln's mom to keep idiot Armstrong out of the tabloids and away from law suits. And now that wilderness-lumberjack Lincoln is back in town - she's also been tasked with making him presentable.
LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN ...
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH WREN & LINCOLN?
WILL THERE BE A HAPPILY EVER AFTER?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺
ADORABLE!
Another cute and funny and sparky and sexy and serious romance in this amazing series!
I just loved Lincoln and Wren. I loved how they just meet and argue and fall for each other and start seeing each other with no unnecessary drama and other stuff I usually get in books.
I just loved that. Then I hated the thing that happened at the 70% mark - I hated that it looked like they were going to do what all book people do and NOT talk to each other. But they did and I loved it.
The story was maybe not as funny and über-amazing as I wanted it to be... but I really loved the people in it and there were great moments. I just love this series!
Can't wait for more1
HANDLE WITH CARE was an adorable & funny & sexy office romace! I LOVED it! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Lincoln - this one is MINE!!!!
Another super cute story in the Shacking Up universe - and Handle With Care is right up there with my favourites (Linc gave Lex a run for his money though!).
I have adored Wren from when I have met her previously, and now I just love that fiesty woman. I love her snark, I love her strength and how she doesn't put up with anybody's crap.
I feel for Linc, as he gets dragged back into family drama and the family business after running far, far away - and I don't blame him for it either!
And then Armstrong - he really is a complete and utter ar$e, and I hope he gets an STI and his d!ck drops off!
I am glad that our lovelies, though fighting all the way, made their way to their happy. There was one point when I was "oh hell no, don't you do this" but they didn't - so yay for being adulty and sh!t!
There were some great secondary characters that I freaking loved - I don't want to spoil them for you though, but you will love one in particular.
