ARC received from HarperCollins Australia for an honest review
This was my first Adele Parks read, and I will be reading more in the future.
Lies Lies Lies starts out as quite a simple, light, straight forward story, however we are soon sent on a ride full of twists and turns and WTF moments.
Daisy and Simon's marriage has been on a downward slide for a while, and just when you think you know what has been going on - BAM - we are thrown in another direction.
And there was one real turn that I certainly was not expecting!
There are great friendships (though at times her friends were a little OTT) but they a true friends - even when you dont' think they are.
I was completely engrossed in this story. I read it over a week during my lunch breaks, groaning each day as my alarm reminded me to go back to work.
I am now looking forward to what Ms Parks brings us in the future, and I will go back and read more of her catalogue in the meantime.
