Troy Brennan

Every southie in Boston knows that name. The son of a dead mobster. The heart throb with steel blue eyes. "The Fixer" who can make or break you in this city.

Oh, and my new husband.

Sparrow Raynes

That's me. No one seemed to remember my name up until he barged into my life.
But then he caged me.
Kidnapped me.
And killed every chance I had to runaway from the place where we grew up.
Put simply, Troy Brennan clipped my wings.

I have dreams, big ones, but I doubt he'd ever let me chase them. I have no idea why he'd decided to take me as his wife. But I do know this: pissing off this man will not do me any good. At all.

Sparrow is a standalone, full-length novel. It contains graphic violence and adult situations some may find offensive.

Troy Brennan is on a mission.
A mission to revenge his beloved dad.
His death must've somehow been connected to the irish mob in Boston - his dad used to be their boss ages ago.
After killing the two people responsible for his dad's death, there are only two things left to do.
Find and kill the person behind the murder of his dad and then there's one sacrifice he has to make.
A promise he made to his dad.
Marry Sparrow Raynes....
She's a girl that grew up in his neighborhood, but they almost never had any contact with each other - he's ten years her senior. But things we don't yet know about have Troy follow his dad's wishes.

Poor Sparrow.
The 22 year old almost chef (well, at least she wants to work in a kitchen), is kidnapped from home and told that she'll be married to Troy in ten days!
No idea why and how and WHY?? Probably some shit her dad got into.....A debt owed or whatever.

She can't stand her new husband at all.

I feared and loathed Troy Brennan. He was practically untouchable in Boston. Loved among the cops and respected by the local gangs, he was able to get away with murder.
Literally.

But even though he's almost all bad - he's also very darkishly sexy and some inner idiot in her is getting turned on by him big-time.

He was a cheater.
A criminal.
A murderer.
And I was...fascinated.

But neither Sparrow nor Troy are in this for love and lust.... or are they??? Will they be???
And what about the bad guys who killed his dad?? Who is the bad guy in this story?

What will happen to Sparrow & Troy?
Will this weird beginning of their life turn into love?
Will there be a HEA??
Will everybody survive???
Will there be a horrible Cliffhanger?

Nope - I'm not telling you ☺

no Cliffy of course ☺

I really enjoyed reading the book!!

I'm not the biggest mafia-romance fan on the planet...but here I am, having read this one, and I really loved it!
Yes, there was a bit violence and killing here and there, but pffff, it's a mafia romance, what did I expect?! ☺

...and, what's not to like about a reallllly hot and sexy and gorgeous and did I mention HOT AS HELL son-of-a-dead-ex-mob-boss guy, who's jobs are not all that legal either???? Most of them at least ☺

Troy is really phew!!! Darkishly handsome and really bad! ☺
He thinks he's a psychopath, Sparrow thinks he's a sociopath.... but he's just a really sad, lonely and dark soul, in an amazing body ☺☺☺

I think with all the hating-each-other, the whole love part of the book gets a bit lost. But we're getting there, even if it takes a while!
I really enjoyed the story. Not sure that I could be with someone like that, but Sparrow grew up surrounded by mafia guys. Plus, Sparrow can handle a tiny little mafia son!!!
Poor Troy - he has no idea what he's gotten himself into with his little birdie - but he's slowly getting it!!!

We have lots of sexy and suspensy and frustrating moments in this book!!!!
If you like sexy and darkish mafia romances and are not turned off by a tiny bit of taboo stuff - this is so the book for you! I loved it!

SPARROW was a beautiful mafia romance! Isn't that an oxymorn? Anyway, I loved it! Lots of sexy & suspensy & frustrating & adorable moments! ☺ GO AND BUY THE BOOK!!!! You don't want to miss Troy & Sparrow!

♫ Sticks (Black Addiction #2) ♫ T. Gephart ♫

Kenzie Clark had made plenty of mistakes. Who cared? Life was all about the journey, and if you couldnt enjoy the ride then what was the point. The tough-talking guitarist from Brooklyn, NY worked hard so she could play even harder. But some mistakes werent so easy to walk away from. Joey Shaw, drummer for Black Addiction, was exactly that kind of a mistake.

How could one night of fun turn into a life long commitment? That
s exactly what Joey was asking himself when Kenzie showed up a few weeks laterthe soon-to-be baby bump with his name written all over it. He could barely tie his shoes; how in the hell was he going to raise a kid?

With neither of them ready to become parents, it was always going to be a difficult, but there was no way either of them were walking away. Come hell or high water, they were having this baby
together.

Hopefully they would both be still standing by the birth.

Waking up to a new T. Gephart book on the kindle is like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and your fairy godmother all in the room at the same time!

I loved all her guys and girls in the Power Station series, but I really think I am loving the Black Addiction crew even more.

Told from Joey and Kenzie's POV, we follow their burgeoning relationship from lust-to-eff-buddies-to-parents to be-to-friends-to-lovers (phew!)  There has always been that mutual attraction and friendship, but is it enough to get them through the trials of parenthood.

I loved getting in both of their heads.  Kenzie was my kind of woman right from the get go.  Strong, independent, scared sh!tless by her new future, but not asking for anything from anyone.

Joey had me a little concerned at first.  He could flirt for his country and win gold, and has a line of women wanting him.  But through his POV, I was surprised at his depth of feelings for Kenzie (at first anyway!)  He made me laugh, shake my head, roll my eyes.  But most of all he made my heart soar.

"God I want you."  He pulled off my sleep shirt, the one I had barely been wearing an hour, and kissed my newly exposed skin.  "I don't think I've ever wanted anything as much as I want you."

I loved the growth of Kenzie and Joey's relationship.  Nothing felt forced, it changed organically as the story unfolded.

There were a few twists and turns, and at one stage I was so mad with what what happening, I was laying on my couch, body rigid with anger.  I wanted to reach into my kindle and strangle people!  I may have scared the neighbours with my obscenely loud swearing!

Ms Gephart weaves a beautiful story, and I really didn't want to put Sticks down once I started.  I adored that we got the more of the Power Station guys and gals, and loved getting to know more about the Black Addiction crew.

I can't wait to see what happens with them all next.

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.

Ts approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively
throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.

An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didnt lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past colorful experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who dont have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldnt let it go.

T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey - she is well and truly enjoying the ride!

Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.

✪ Lies (Nicki Sosobee #10) ✪ Jade C Jamison ✪

From here on out, the Nicki Sosebee series is getting darker.
BUCKLE UP.
Like a dog with a bone, Nicki cannot help but continue to pursue realtor-turned-politician Gina McCafferty as the woman persists in making her play for Winchesters open City Council seat. But Nicki is learning over and over again that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to her fair city. Meanwhile, her personal life is topsy-turvy, and a tattoo artist named Hunter makes Nickis life a living hell.
Alliances are tested. Lines are drawn. And events are set in motion that will play out in deadly ways

ARC received from author for an honest review

Wow, can you believe that we are up to #10 already in the Nicki Sosobee series?

We follow on where the last book finished up, so you will need to have read the previous books before Lies.

I would like to think that Nicki and I would be great friends in real life.  She is ballsy, she is smart - but she is also smarting from the demise of her relationship with Sean.

But nothing can keep a good woman down, and even with all the crap that is going on in her life, she is still up-and-at-'em, still trying to sniff out what the deal is with Cecil Montgomery.  Still trying to move on in life, even when at times it seems determined to keep holding her back.

Enter Hunter Landry - sexy as sin tattoo artist.  I really liked Hunter at first, but as the story progressed.....

As events occur in Lies, Nicki comes out the other side with what may seem like more vulnerability, but is really more strength to her.  Lies took a turn that I was not expecting, but that is all the more reason to love the Nicki series, and Ms Jamison as an author.

Although with that ending, Ms Jamison certainly left me wanting more.

Can't wait to see where the adventures of Nicki Sosobee take us next.

For years, Jade C. Jamison tried really hard to write what she thought was more “literary” fiction, but she found herself compelled to write what you read by her today—sometimes gritty, raw, realistic stories and other times humorous, light tales—but most of the stories she writes revolve around relationships and characters finding their way through life. While she doesn’t confine herself to just one genre, nor is there a nice neat label for what she writes, most of her work could be called erotic romance.

She lives in Colorado with her husband and four children.
