Both have been very hurt by previous relatinships. They would be perfect for each other. Their meet cute was not really a romance novel worthy meet cute. But Holly is determined to befriend her new neighbor.
It might take them a while to get to that happy end with each other - with all those dating app dates and whatnots... but it's so worth it to follow them on that journey!
