Not going to lie, I am not the biggest fan of the rural romance genre (I have been the city girl that moves to the country, and it is not like they make it out to be hahaha)

However, this one got past those barriers I have to it, and I really liked it.

It is not just the story of Mila and Sawyer, moving from friendship to more. It is small town gossip, doing what you have to do to keep your head above water. It is holding your head high when it feel like every eye is on you.

I like both Mila and Sawyer a lot.  You can feel their childhood friendship turn into love, not always through words but actions.

Yes, there was that silly miscommunication thing that we get is so many books these days, but I liked that it was just a small blip and didn't take half of the book to get over.

There is also another story line that I think readers are going to enjoy.

I haven't read Nicola Marsh before, but I would not say no to reading her again in the future.

What a way to bring the Elite series to an end.

Now, if you are like me and have bookzheimers, it will take you a while to remember who is who, which ones are couples (except Arsen and Prism, who could forget them)

Once I got me head around that again, I really enjoyed it.

Loved that we got bit of everyone's POV. was good to see where they were all at (marriage is the name of the game on this trip it seems!)

I especially loved Coach/Emmett in this installment!

It is sad to say goodbye to characters I have been reading for years, but on to new and exciting things from Ms Hebert.

Helena Hunting's books have been a bit hit or miss lately, but with Chase Lovett Wants Me, she's gone straight through the five hole and set off the lights and sirens

I LOVED it!

It was great to see the Toronto Terror-verse expanding with the Tilton Blaze,and loved seeing characters from TT here.

Cammie and Chase are just lovely.  Cammie is sweet and quirky, Chase isn't the typical college hockey ar$$ that we so often get

I liked that there was not stupid misunderstanding, they meet, they get to know each other, they fall for each other.  Sure, there is plenty of the typical university crap that happens all the time, and of course there are characters you are going to dislike.

And there is another character I just need more of -Brody, who is the brother of Tristan from If You Hate Me.

I look forward to more Blaze in the future, as there are a few of the guys I want to get to know better.

 

Cammie + Chase

Both are new college people and they live on the same floor in the dorms. But only Cammie knows that. She has a huge crush on the new Tilton U Hockey god. He doesn't know she exists until they end up sharing the same hotel room.

Now he sees her. He's insta in love with the tiny Lord of the rings nerd!

That was such a cute book. It was so sweet and hot and just adorable!

There's no stupid back and forth. We meet and fall in for each other. Of course it's not an insta happily ever after. We have some college drama and some shyness and stuff. But still. I just adored those two. And all the other people - some we know from the Terror books and some new people for future Tilton books.
