Celia doesn't really know, but she's a little scared. Or a lottle.
But she's also still so very attracted to him. The bastard. She hates him! LOL!
We spend a LOT of time on Edward's island in the Caribbean this time. Basically it's the only place we get to see. Celia is alone most of the time - which is part of Edward's plan to ... ☺
I have no idea where this story is going.
I just hope we'll get that happy end at the end of book #4, but I have NO idea how we'll get there! ☺
I really loved reading this. It was a bit ... slower? Creepier than last time.
It was also sexy, sparky, crazy, frustrating & heartbreaking. I love Edward and Celia. I love them together. Even though Edward has all these weird ideas for her. But I really hope I'm right in thinking that he has a plan for her - and not a bad one!!!
And this time we don't really end in a cliffy - or if it is one, then it's one we can definitely live with until the next book comes out! I can't wait for book #3 to land on my kindle - even though I'm not really sure why there have to be four books!!!!??? I'm not really a fan of book series. Only when all books are already out! BUT, I hope we don't have to wait too long for the 3rd one - I'm really bad remembering things with my booksalzheimers!

SLAY TWO: RUIN was a great 2nd book in this crazy & sexy quartet! I can't wait to see where Celia and Edward will take us in the next books! Hurry to your nearest amazon asap - Edward will be sold out in no time!!!
Now, I wasn't such a huge fan of the first book in this series. I really wasn't sure what I thought of Edward. And I really didn't expect to feel sorry for Celia Werner, however I did and in this second installment I did even more.
I am still unsure of my feelings towards Edward. I will admit that by the end of this installment, I am slowly starting to come around to him and his ways.
This was a bit creepier than the first installment. However it was also hotter, sexier and more tender than the first one. You can feel the attraction between them growing - even with the scare factor thrown in, there is true feelings growing between them.
And just when I think things will go one way, we come to the end of this installment.
I have no idea where this story is going to go. I know where I want it to go, however I know I am going to have to wait a while to find out. Please don't make me wait too long.

Yes, she was calculating and manipulative, and she was very spoiled about
getting her way, but that was all surface. She was an onion. There were layers
and layers underneath, parts of her that she held away. Parts she showed no
one. For whatever reason, I’d caught sight of what she kept hidden, whether
