 We all remember what happened in EASY VIRTUE.... Blaire kinda fell in love with Ronan, but he's not what she thinks she needs and wants. She needs a rich man to take care of her. And that's Lawrence.
But she can't forget Ronan.
And he can't forget her - especially because he's working for Lawrence!!! He sees her with him all the time. He tries to forget her with lots of sex...but she's always in his head - just like he's in hers.
But she's also developing feelings for Lawrence, and Ronan is having a thing with Rachel - a woman who can also help him professionally .... doesn't that make him into the exact same person Blaire is?? Selling himself to better his life?

What will happen with Blaire and her boys? Will Lawrence be able to live with a girl who's in love with some other guy?? We find out a lot of what everyone thinks in this second book, because we have multiple POVs ☺
But that's all I'm telling you - I don't want to spoil anything!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!

I had no idea what to expect when I started this book.
Of course I kept hoping that she would choose Ronan - but then I felt sorry for Lawrence again. I secretly kept hoping that it was some kind of psycho story, where Ronan and Lawrence were both the same person - like Clark Kent and Superman. ☺☺☺
But nope... There are two real guys Blaire has to choose between.
Both loving and hating her and both hurting because of knowing her... poor Blaire.
Time to put on her big-girl-panties and get her life back in order....

I really loved this book - I kinda expected a tiny bit more. Maybe a hundred more pages - it felt a bit rushed in the end...I'm always a huge fan of eplilogues and we don't really have one here..... But I still loved it.

SWEETEST VENOM was the perfect conclusion to this amanzingly beautiful 2-book-series! Sexy, sad, and waaaay too short ☺

This is the 3rd book in the New York's finest series, and although I have not read the first two this has not affected my enjoyment of the Cuff Me.  I have read other books by Ms Layne so I knew what I was in for with Cuff Me.

And I really did enjoy this book.

You never know what you've got till it's gone, isn't that how the saying goes.

That's how it is for Vincent Moretti when his partner, his best friend, Jill Henley comes back from leave engaged. 

The emotions jumped off the pages as Vin comes to terms with losing Jill - even though technically she was never his.  Everyone around them knows how he feels.   You could feel his hurt as he tries to come to terms with this new man in her life.

This is a friends-to-lovers/work partners-to-lovers read, and one that had me drawn in from the beginning. The UST between our lovelies is off the charts.  You just know that things are going to be explosive if/when they get their act together.

There is great banter between the characters, and especially with Vin's family.  They had me laughing out loud at times, and even though they taunt each other, it is done with so much love.

These are two characters that I just wanted with my whole soul to be together.  No one else would do.

But do they get together?  For that you will need to read for yourself.

Ms Layne is one of those authors that you know you are going to get a smile out of reading.

I look forward to going back and reading the first two books in this series, and look forward to more in the future.
