Who remembers their first love?  **Raises hands**  First love leads to first heartbreak, and I am sure we all remember how well we handled that - or didn't.

Lisa's love for Bobby is all-consuming.  Years down the track, she has never gotten over him, and every relationship she has had since has left her wanting.

6 years down the track, her best friend Brad is in love with her and has been since they were teenagers, she has just started dating Stuart, who has been chasing her for a year.  Then BAM - Bobby walks back into her life.

All the old feelings of love and hate return in an instant.  This makes for a very interesting love-rectangle indeed.

Lisa has struggled more than once with Bobby leaving her, and you can feel her heartache in these scenes.

I did not like Stuart at all!  He really only ever seemed to be in the relationship for his own benefit and gees he irritated me.  I wanted to bitch slap him a couple of time, the whiney little girl!

Brad - me heart broke for Brad a couple of times.  Nothing sucks like unrequited love :-(

And Bobby - what could be hotter than a sexy alpha
I loved the secondary characters - Jodi and John are the kind of friends we all need in our life!

Watch Me Walk Away is a well written book about second and even third chances.

The one thing that did irritate me slightly with the writing was the lack of contraction of "I will" -there was never an I'll, and at times it did make the conversations between the characters feel a little formal.  But that is the only thing, and all in all this is a fine work for a debut author!

Do Bobby and Lisa get their HEA?  Well for that, you are just going to have to read it!
