A new male / male hockey romance from 24-time USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen!

My name is Hudson Newgate, but my teammates call me New Guy.

That was my nickname in Chicago, too. And Vancouver. That’s what happens when you keep getting traded. Brooklyn is my last chance, especially after my poor performance last season.

But I can make this work. The new guy knows to keep his head down and shoot the puck. The new guy puts the game first.

What he doesn’t do is hook up with the other new guy
a hot athletic trainer who lives in my building. Gavin needs this job with my team. Hes a single dad with responsibilities.

We can’t be a couple. My arrogant agent
whos also my fatherwill lose his mind if Im dating a dude. And my team needs me to score goals, not whip up a media circus.

Too bad Gavin and I are terrible at resisting each other

ARC received for an honest review

More time in Sarina's hockey land? Yes Please!

And you know what?

I LOVE IT!!

Even when at times both Hudson and Gavin felt a lot older than 25!

Add in a precocious and utterly loveable Jordyn and I was hooked.

Loved the way they try to fight it and fail. How they fall for each other hard.  How they each have their own familial demons to slay.

And I will say that I reckon I spent a big part of the last 20% telling myself that no, this cannot be happening.  Not after all they have conquered.

But of course, Sarina Bowen never disappoints me and all was right by me!

I need more Brooklyn Bruisers in my hockey loving life, STAT!

Gavin + Hudson

Hudson just got traded to the Brooklyn Bruisers. It's what feels like his 142th trade in five years. He needs this to work. He wants to stay here for a long time.
That's why he doesn't have time to date.
Enter his team's new athletic trainer and new neighbor Gavin.
Hot and sweet single dad widower Gavin!
Hudson can't start anything with this amazing guy. His agent-dad would kill him, he would be in the press for only non-hockey related stuff. He  just can't at the moment. Right?

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN!

Another super adorable + sweet + funny + sexy + hockey love story!
As you might know I'm not a hockey fan and there was a lot of hockey in here ... but I love Sarina's books and I just have to read them all!

Gavin and Hudson were so adorable!
And of course little Jordyn. So cute!

Both guys are only 25 and it was a tiny bit weird for my tastes. I would've loved it more with a few years added to their ages. 29 would've been better maybe. No idea what I mean, but it felt and sounded all more mature than it was or should've been.

But anyway - I loved reading this. I even had some tiny eye-pee-pee moments!
It was super adorable and heartbreaking and just the perfect love story.

Still asking myself why Netflix hasn't knocked on Sarina's door yet??
Does it already have an amazingly funny and sexy Hockey Romance series? NO, it does not!

THE NEW GUY was such an adorable + sweet + funny + emotional single Dad Hockey Love Story! Run to your nearest bookdealer for your own Gavin + Hudson - these two are MINE!
