Well. I loved it. Even though I hated it.
No. I hated it. Even though I loved it! LOL!
Sam was so scared people wouldn't like this story, because it's not something she's ever done before. But it was great! It was an exciting thrillery mystery thingy. With some very romantic, sexy, funny, adorable moments. I really enjoyed reading it.
You just can't stop reading basically. You need to know what is what and who is good and who is bad and grrrr. ☺
And that's basically all I can tell you without spoiling anything. And I hate that! Because I know people will want to know if we'll get a happy end, or if any of our darlings will die et cetera. But I can't tell you. READ IT! You might love it. You might want to throw Sam and your kindle out the nearest window. But try it!!!! I really enjoyed reading it ... come chat me up after reading - we'll discuss. ☺
I like it when authors step out of their comfort zones and write something completely different from what they have in the past.
It can be hit or miss with the results, however with Dead Pretty, Samantha Towle has a hit with me. I know she was worried about how people would take to Dead Pretty, but she need not have worried. She had a story to tell, and she told it well.
It's a mystery/thriller/omg kind of book. I was so involved with this story as I was reading. In the back of my mind, I was always waiting for the shoe to drop. I was anxiously turning each page, needing to know what would happen next.
Audrey and Jack's story was intense. There is so much I could say, but this is a story that you need to just dive in to.
This is going to be a story that you either love or hate - I hope you love it!
