Make Coffee Hottie fall in love with me

Yeah, this shouldn
t be difficult at all.

ARC received for an honest review

Two of my favourite Aussie authors have come together to write Bittersweet.

And what  a delightfully sweet story it is.

Romy and Elio's story is all kinds of cute and adorable, and right from the get go I wanted Romy to get her
I love how adorkably cute they are around each other.  Watching them circle each other, neither admitting they want the other. You just want to smoosh them together.

There is a little darling of a scene stealer that will absolutely grab your heart and run away with it. I am still waiting for them to bring mine back.

I adored that there wasn't any OTT drama with this story.  Sure, our lovelies had their trials, but no drama for dramas sake.

I like most of the secondary characters - believe me, there is one you will absolutely hate! You will know who they are as soon as you meet them!

I couldn't help but smile as I read Bittersweet.  I laughed, I smiled, I wanted to throw my kindle at people.  But most of all, I kept turning each page, needing to know what would happen next.

Bittersweet was a wonderful way to spend a few hours, lazing on the couch with a nice hot cuppa.

I hope these lovely ladies collaborate again in the future.

Confident I no longer look like a cave troll, I grab my keys and wallet and rush downstairs. Elio is just turning the sign in the window when I virtually slam my body against it because I was running full-tilt down the stairs, and I cant slow my velocity. He gives a startled laugh, and I flame bright red.
Elio abandons his closed sign and opens the door.Hey.
Hi. Sorry about that.
Couldnt wait to see me, huh? His eyes burn with mischief. I blush and desire arcs through me, because really, it should be illegal for anyone to look that delicious in jeans and a T-shirt with a dishtowel slung over his shoulder.
Ha! Yeah. I shake my head.I mean no. I mean, Coffee. Im lagging. Please, Im really sorry. I know youre closed and you wanna get home, and why wouldnt you? Its not like you want to stay at the shop all day when theres wine to drink and cheese to nibble and classic books to read.
He frowns.Thats your impression of me? That I nibble cheese while reading classic literature.
And the wine, my mouth supplies unhelpfully.
He chuckles. You may need a crash course in what men do after work. Heres a hint: its not nibbling anything. Unless, of course, it comes to ear lobes.
Oh, wow. Okay. I would definitely prefer that to an expensive gouda.
He grins.Come on. Ill do you better than just a coffee.
Excuse me? I squeak.
Now he laughs outright.Relax,Romy. My nonna is here, my sister too, and a bossy four-year-old. I promise, I wont bite.
Not even if I want you to?
