Get ready to experience the heartbreakingly beautiful love story of Ollie and Reid in USA TodayBestselling Author Brooke Blaine's The Unforgettable Duet.

Three sugars, two creamers.
That’s how you took your coffee every morning at Joe’s Grab ’N Go.
But you don’t remember that.
You don’t remember anything.
Anything, that is, except me

That day

And the tragedy that catapulted us together.

ARC received for an honest review

Brooke Blaine, you had me at hello.

What a beautiful, heartbreaking yet hopeful book.

I simply adored Ollie and Reid and the journey they are taking. I laughed, I cried and most of all I loved. I loved Ollie. I loved Reid.

I don't want to give anything away, as I think you need to just dive into this book blind(ish) and devour it.

It has wonderfully developed characters, a wonderful storyline that will have you enthralled.

Yes, it does have a cliffhanger - but don't despair, it is only a 2 week wait for the conclusion.

I have only just finished this story and am impatient for part 2. Hurry up Feb 26th!

I think I will not write my usual little summary - well yes, I will write it - but I'll put it in a spoiler thing - you can read it if you want - or not - it's not spoilering too much, but even telling you about the first two chapters could be considered spoiling!
I will write it in white - you just have to move you mouse or finger across the following lines:

Ollie tells us about Reid. About how he meets him every single morning when they both grab a coffee at the same place. But he never even finds out his name. He only knows that Reid is mega hot and always takes his coffee the same way - with 3 sugars and 2 creamers. Then one day they finally exchange a few words and poor Ollie is even more in love/lust/crush with Reid than ever before. But it all comes to a dramatic turning point, when paramedic Ollie is first to arrive at the scene of a car accident. Reid's car accident.
And suddenly the last ten years have been wiped from Reid's memory. The only 'new' thing he remembers is Ollie. And they become friends. Ollie is the only familiar thing and Reid feels safe with him. But Reid is not gay. Ollie can dream as much as he wants, that won't change. Or could it??? Does it?

♥ ADORABLE ♥

This is such an adorable story. I was soooo excited to finally get to read it. I already read the first chapter a while back and that first chapter ended on such a huge cliffy!!! Grrrrr - but now here's the whole book. And yes, there might've been another tiny little cliffy at the end of this first book! ☺ But the second one will be out in 2 weeks!

Ollie is such an amazing guy. He and his best buddy and co-worker Mike are so adorable. They have the cutest conversations. Mostly about Ollie's crush Reid. Hilarious.
I will put the next few lines as a spoiler thingy again:
And Reid - poor guy. He always dreamed of becoming a musician when he grew up and now he is grown up, but he lost the last ten years and he suddenly finds out that he's a teacher?
Things need to change for Reid. But will they change enough for Ollie to find a place in his life and heart? We hope so! And we'll definitely find out in the 2nd book!!

I adored this story!
The only thing I didn't like was their ages. I think Ollie's 32 years are a bit old. He should've been 26 and Reid 24 ... they both appear so much younger.
BUT the story is mega adorable and heartbreaking and moving and sweet and ugh - I just love those two and Mike! ☺ GIMMMMMEEEE BOOK 2 NOW BROOKE!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

You could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read. She used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her quiet time. Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she nowcarries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.

Brooke enjoys writing sassy contemporary romance, whether in the form of comedy, suspense, or erotica. The latter has scarred her conservative Southern family for life, bless their hearts.

If youd like to get in touch with her, shes easy to find - just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone thats dominated her cell phone for ten years.
