Ok, where do I start? I don't want to spoil anything!!! I usually start with a little summary - a little bit about what the story is about. I'm thinking about not doing that this time...But...pfff - I need to tell you a little bit about it..... We already know the basics. Amelia and Justin were best friends once. Now they're not. They haven't said a word to each other in nine years. Haven't seen each other in all that time.
Something happened back then that made Amelia break Justin's heart and now he hates her.
So her grandma leaving her beach house to the both of them would be the perfect opportunity to clear the air once and for all.... you'd think so.... But Justin really hates her!
Amelia is a teacher and so she has the whole summer off - a summer she wants to spend at that beautiful house. And once Justin shows up with his girlfriend things are heating up. But not in a sexy way.
Jade is really nice, but Justin just keeps insulting Amelia, or ignoring her.
But of course we know, or hope, that Justin's behavior comes from his deep inner feelings for his old friend.... But we also don't really want to hurt Jade.
We also go back in time a few times, to see how Justin and Amelia met, how they became friends etc...
But then there's a second part to this book - and I think saying that already spoils things ☺ But no - you still don't know what happens.... :P
What will happen to Amelia & Justin & Jade?
Will anything happen romantically??
Will they work on being friends again?
Or was Justin too hurt to ever forgive her?
Will there be a HEA?
Will everybody die at the end?

He was a real ass in the beginning of course ☺
But he's been hurt - we don't yet know what it was that hurt him so badly, but we feel with him.
Amelia does too, and that's why she wants to clear the air - to talk it all out, but he's too stubborn and too hurt to listen to her.
I just loved those two together - I felt bad for Jade of course, but I really wanted Amelia and Justin to work things out and get their Happy Ever After!

I'm such a huge rockstar-romance fangirl - not that Justin is a rockstar - but he sings, and plays the guitar and that's totally enough for me to do some fangirl-squeeees ☺☺☺
I loved every single word of this story, I finished it way too fast :/
There were sooo many FEELS in this book - so many moving moments, but also sexy moments and funny moments - and LOTS of adorable Justin moments!!!!!!

Was there something I didn't like? Hm, maybe the fact that Justin has a girlfriend when they meet again bothered me a bit :/ There could've been sooo many amazing sexy scenes without Jade in the picture ☺☺☺

I was not sure what to expect when I started reading RoomHate. The synopsis had me intrigues as to how Amelia and Justin would act sharing the same house after so many years.
It is a fine line between love and hate, and I knew these two would be toeing that line pretty closely.
But man oh man, what we got was just So. Much. More.
From the minute they were back in the same room again their was friction. There was hurt. There was anger.
There was sexual chemistry flying around the room.
What I didn't expect was how emotional RoomHate was going to be. It hit my right in the feels.
I adored Justin and Amelia - through it all I just wanted them to fight, to yell, to scream and sort things out. Then there was the complication of Justin's girlfriend Jade. I liked her but I didn't! I liked her as a person, but I didn't like her as she was the thing keeping our lovelies apart.
For those that worry about this in their books - there is no cheating. I repeat, no cheating!
