✪ Blog Tour ✪ Giveaway ✪ Vandal (Ashes & Embers #2) ✪ Carian Cole ✪

She takes my breath away; she is so beautifully damaged.
Yes I had broken her, ravished her life, destroyed her happiness. I brought her to ultimate despair. I was responsible for all the pain and suffering that now brought her to her knees in front of me.

Broken.
Hopeless.
Reckless in her agony.

She is a mirror of my own tortured soul.

But what I took away I can give back.
In ways she cannot even begin to imagine.

She is everything right in all my wrongs.

She loves me. She needs me.

She has no idea I
m the one who wrecked her life.

ARC receive for an honest review

I really enjoyed book one in the Ashes and Embers series, Storm, so when the opportunity came up to read and review Vandal is was a no brainer for me.

And wow - what a book!

Vandal starts with a gut wrenching moment, and my heart broke over and over as the story continued.  Vandal is deep in the depths of grief when he meet Tabitha.

Both broken through and through, nothing worth living for, the last thing they expect is to find each other.

We know right from the beginning of things who Tabi is in relation to Vandal, but she is none the wiser.  The whole time reading, I was on the edge of my seat, knowing secrets would be revealed and what their consequences would be, but not knowing when they would happen.  The suspense was killing me!

I adored Vandal and Tabitha as a couple.  Such an unlikely relationship forms between them, but you could feel through to your bones how good they could be for each other.

There is something in the way Carian Cole writes that brings that to the fore.  Writing with such feeling, such empathy for the characters.  You can't help but get pulled into the character's lives.

Vandal is such a complex man.  There is more on behind the hair than you first think.  He is deep, caring - loving even - but he has Heinz 57 varieties of issues going on! Way before his current issues he was a troubled, troubled man.

I loved how Tabi brought him back to being like the man his friends had forgotten he could be. These two really are perfect for each other.

But is it enough for them to have their happy ending?  Uh Uh, for that you are going to have to read for yourself.

We get a lot more of the other Ashes and Embers boys too.  Storm and Evie - particularly Evie - Lukas and Asher.  Lukas and Evie play quite significant parts in Vandal's story.

I really did completely and utterly fall into this story and did not want it to stop.  Carian Cole has very quickly become one of my must read authors.

And I just want to say - no cliffhanger, but one hell of a twist in the tale that I sure as heck did not see coming!

So, what are you doing still reading this - go, right this minute and #GetVandalized!

I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts. My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.
My first novel in the Ashes & Embers series, Storm, published on September of 2014. Vandal, the second novel in this series is publishing in February of 2015. I currently have approximately nine books slated for this series, as well as an MC series in the works, and a few stand-alones coming in 2015 onward.
Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.
