🏒 Clear Shot (Lauderdale Knights #9) 🏒 Kat Mizera 🏒

The deal was marry my teammate’s sister, fake the fairy tale, get her a green card, and part ways like it never happened.

No feelings. No strings. No complications.

Yeah, well… that didn’t go according to plan.

We caught feelings. Big ones.

Now she’s pregnant, with my baby. And just when I’m ready to admit this might be more than just a deal, she drops a she’s leaving. Headed back to Slovakia.

And she’s taking my kid with her.

That’s not happening.

She might think it’s over—but this story? It’s just getting started. Because they’re both mine, and I’m not letting go without a fight.

Copy received for an honest review

I am new to the Lauderdale Knights, but that did not take away from my enjoyment of this 9th installment.  Yes, I missed some of the nuances in relationships etc, but that is to be expected.

I enjoy a friends-to-fauxmance-to-more story, and Aiden and Hana's was a good one. A fake marriage that leads to more. Friends around them who can see that they like each other even when they deny it to themselves.

But of course our lovelies don't have the easiest road to a HEA, with Aiden's past getting in his way - I got why but boy oh boy was it frustrating.  And my biggest peeve - communicate, people!

I enjoyed the people around them,  adore how close Hana is to her brother Jonah and his family.

And of course an 80's style ending that would melt the coldest and hardest of hearts.

But the thing that I really appreciated about Clear Shot?  It is set in Florida, and finally, a romance that includes the natural disasters that happen every year in that part of the world!

I need to go back and read the rest of the books in this series, and look forward to any more that may come in the future (as it felt like we were coming close tot he end of the series with Clear Shot)
