Well, this was so cute!
It starts a bit confuzzling for my tastes. Too many complicated chapters in the beginning. We get a prologue and then we get two different journalists who write about the royals ... but then we get the story from Tori & Adrien's POV. Once you get used to it, it's totally ok! Just took me a moment.
The story is sweet and fun and sexy and exciting.
Yes, it's all a bit silly with the über-fictional kingdoms and all the royals, but pfff, I didn't mind that at all.
Adrien is mega sexy and adorable and a bit lost in his life at the moment.
And Tori is so sweet and innocent-ish and they would be perfect as a royal couple. But of course it's not really all that easy ...
I also love all the supporting cast - like Tori's besties aka PA's Rachel and Ava. And all the left-over princes!
We'll hear more from this world soon!
I think what many readers will find fresh and interesting in this book ... I didn't much care for. The constant chapters from the press's POV - it disturbed my reading flow and it just gave us shortened info about stuff that I would've liked to read about a bit longer. The story was a bit short and 'unflowing' because of those press chapters. Would've been better without them. Kim could've added a few more chapters with more details and more about everything. The wedding, the falling for each other, the mystery about the bad people. So much about everything was missing in this story. Especially since this was the first book in this Royal Series and added to Tori & Adrien's story we had to meet ALLLL the people!
But I still really liked reading it and I will read all the other princes' books too!

It is always a good day when a new Kim Karr story turns up on your kindle.
This surprise release was just the antidote I needed to all the Christmas and New Year celebrations. I was able to sit down and just enjoy a read, which hadn't happened for a few weeks.
Tori and Adrien's story was a cute, sexy, story of finding real love against the odds, when you have family and your country breathing down your back to make a suitable match.
Our lovelies are both a little lost at the moment, and find a bit of sense and companionship in each other. I love how they meet and how their stories came together.
There are a lot of secondary characters, that at first as the story is starting were a little confusing - however I think that is more me than the story - blogger burn out is a real thing, and I was in the middle of it. It is also setting up characters for the next books in this series too.
I just wanted Tori and Adrien to be together. But can they make it with all the outside pressures on them?

Fun, flirty and fabulous, I cannnot wait to see where Ms Karr takes this series.
