Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother.
And that his best friend has a crush on me.
And that I just moved in with them.
Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?
I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing?
Fitzy has been mega-intrigued by Summer ever since he met her for the first time about a year ago - She's the sister of one of his former team mates. Same with her - she thinks he's a total hottie. BUT ... poor Fitzy is a bit hesitant. He kinda thinks she's a spoiled little rich girl - just fluff - nothing more. But of course he doesn't know her. And he's getting to know her now - she's just moved in with him. And suddenly his buddy Hunter is also mega interested and half in love with her. Fitz doesn't know how to deal with it all - he doesn't do feelings. His parents did a number of him with their stupid divorce and custody war.
And next to all those love and lust problems there's school, horrible professors and work and worries about the future. And hockey. There's some hockey too.☺

We're finally back in that amazing Elle Kennedy hockey world!
And I LOVED every single moment of that book.
I finished it in one day - it just flowed so perfectly through my mind!
It was funny and sweet and sad and sexy and a little heartbreaking. I just adore Fitzy and Summer! The sexy tattooed computer game creator slash hockey star. And the rich girl accidental arsonist who loves fashion but who doesn't really know what to do with her life. Perfect New Adult romance!
Nothing more to say! I LOVED THIS BOOK!
I can't wait to get the stories of ALLLLL THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS SERIES!!!!!!
The only thing I didn't love-love. I adored Hunter too and I felt so sorry for him. It was almost a love-triangle romance - not really, but almost. And I hate those! But it wasn't one and it was ok ... but I can't wait to get his book!!! And Hollis too - the poor guy - in love/lust with Brenna - but he's not getting her - I guess/hope she'll get that Harvard guy in book #2 - Can't wait!!!! ☺

Woohooooo we are back in Elle Kennedy's hockey hottie world, and I couldn't be happier! It seems an age since we have been here!
Fitzy and Summer's story is sweet and sexy, frustrating and infuriating - and I loved every second of it!
She wants him, he wants her but won't do anything about it. Gah! I wanted to clonk their noggins together so they would get their act together! I mean, I could understand his reluctance, but dude! Get over it already lol.
I loved that Fitzy is not only a hockey player but a bit of a gamer nerd too, and the contradiction in the two made him all the more lovable. And I did adore him, no matter how much he frustrated me!
There are some characters that I wasn't sure if I was going to love or hate them, and my decision really wasn't made right up to the end. Some surprised me, some didn't.
I love love loved getting a few glimpses of the guys from the Off-Campus series. If you remember Dean, Summer is his sister so we get quite a bit of him in this story.
I couldn't put The Chase down once I started it, and now I am impatiently awaiting the next book in this series.
