Title: Main Attraction
Author: Ava O’Shay
Genre: contemporary erotica romance
Release Date: November 25, 2013
Jessica Hunter lost her heart and her husband at the same time. He died, and she discovered his infidelities, leaving her a shattered mess.
Five years later, Jessica still isn’t interested in a relationship. That is, until she meets sexy, lead actor Penn Jackson on the set of a popular tween movie—and her life gets turned upside down. Swept away by Penn’s carefree attitude, she lets him into her heart—and her bed—even though Penn warns her that being with him will change her life.
Penn’s warning doesn’t mean much to her. But when his publicist begins a campaign to get rid of her, and a trip to the emergency room turns into a tabloid explosion, she doesn’t just lose her anonymity, but also her job. Now, Jessica will have to choose between the man she loves and the life she’s always known.

33 year old widow Jessica Hunter accompanies her 16 year old niece to Vancouver to visit the set of the latest vampire/tween movie (think Twilight... think very much Twilight!)
At the film set she runs into - or is run over by - sexy leading man Penn Jackson. And the sparks between the two are instant.
Jessica's heart was shattered, not only be her husband's death, but by his betrayal an infidelities before his death. She has closed off her heart, abnd it will take a hell of a man to open it back up.
Penn knows she is different. Yes, he is a man whore, but he wants more than that with Jessica, and he is going to show her he can change.
Jess has decided that for her own good that nothing can happen between them, even if he is all she thinks about.
There may be a surprise visit at her work that may have some of this
But his world and Jess's are so different. How can they ever have a relationship?
I felt sorry for Penn - he has done everything to prove to Jess that he wants to be with her, and she still believes he is nothing but a man whore out for some wham-bam-thank you-mam sex action, then he is off back to his starlets.
And the outside influences putting their nose into Penn and Jess's relationship do not help. Jealous exes, bitchy managers, they all have their two cents worth to say, much to Penn's annoyance.
At times I wanted to slap Jess for being so stubborn. Yes, I could understand where she was coming from, but heck Penn did everything to prove to her that he was into her, that he wanted to be with her. Her husband did such a job on her that she couldn't see it. How Penn didn't walk away a lot was beyond me!
There are some great secondary characters - Jessica's best friend and her hubby, her niece - and some just horrid ones who I wanted to high five in the face - with a brick. All their stories intertwined with our H/h to give a well rounded story.
Penn's life is lived in a fishbowl, the eyes of the world on him.
Will the intrustion of the press into her life be the catalyst for Jessica to run from Penn forever? Or will they make it?
Uh uh, for that you are going to have to read it yourself.
This is the first I have read of Ava O'Shay, and Main Attraction did not disappoint. I laughed, I teared up, I shook my fist in frustration at our protaganists. And thoroughly enjoyed every page I read.
