♛ Sparks Fly ♛ Lauren Runow ♛

Everly wasn’t excited over her impending meeting with the enigmatic Prince Sage. Being one of only four women from whom the Prince gets to choose in marriage was never something she valued. Her goal was to politely and elegantly remove herself from a forced wedding due to long standing traditions. Handsome Prince or not, she won’t marry for anything but love.

Once Sage proceeds to the next candidate, Everly finally feels she can move forward with her life. On her own terms. That is, until she receives a mysterious request, asking her to solve a riddle, taking her on a night she’ll never forget.

A fervent adventure ensues, and attraction builds as the excitement of the night unfolds. Sparks fly in more ways than one just as she finds out who’s stealing her heart.

ARC received for an honest review

I have been a huge fan of Ms Runow since I first came across her work a couple of years ago, and I could not wait to get my reedy little mitts on Sparks Fly.

I was completely swept away by Everly and Sage's story.  I love the Royal being forced into marriage, the "commoner" that isn't good enough for the family.  The pair of them going against everyone's wishes and falling for each other

Sparks sure do fly as their relationship takes off.  Though for a while there I thought Everyly was just one bad decision from being an episode of CSI!

Sage is the prince we all want to meet.  Everly is great. I love that she isn't bowing down to others wishes, that she isn't panting to be the next Queen.  she gives a big eff you to everyone - including our Prince.

It did take me a little bit for me to think that they are perfect for each other, but I got there and then fell in love with them just a little more each page.  The story could have felt rushed (it is pretty insta0lovey) but it didn't feel that way at all.

I can't say how much I dislikd Sage's dad - the king.  He was pompous and snobbish and I just wanted to hit him over the head with my kindle.  And even when he did remove his head from his sphincter - slightly - I still couldn't like him.

Take a leap of faith along with Everly and Sage, and dive in to Sparks Fly.

I can't wait to see what Ms Runow brings us next.
