A sexy new standalone from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.
He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.
When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straighttelling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass.
You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend--smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.
He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.
Only it turned out, the man I'd just told off wasn't the right guy.
Oops. My mistake.
Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.
I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?
That’s what I thoughtuntil I walked into class the next morning.
Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.
I’ll be working under youfiguratively speaking.
Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thingworking under Professor West.
This was going to be interesting

Rachel is 25. She's working as a waitress in a bar in Brooklyn. But she's also going to school to become a music therapist.
Caine is a few years older. Also, he is not Drew! Drew was the guy who lied to Rachel's bestie Ava about being single! But Rachel yelled at poor Caine at the bar. Called him names and whatnot.
LOL!
The next morning she sees him again - as her new professor and boss! She's his new TA!

Can a music professor with a sad & mysterious past and his student - also with a mysterious past - ever have something real and official and everlasting???

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN TO RACHEL & CAiNE????
WiLL THERE BE A HAPPILY EVER AFTER?
READ THE BOOK TO FiND OUT!

Oooh I loved it!
It was almost a rockstar romance - and those are my absolute favorite kinds of books!
I also love student-teacher books when we don't have a pedo thing going - meaning the girl has to be way older than 18! And we have that here. Rachel is already 25. ☺
Caine is so adorable and funny and mysterious and Rachel is so cute and always late - which Mr. Prof hates!
They're really adorable together - but of course they can't really be together with him being her boss and thesis advisor. And then there are those sad things that happened in both their pasts ...
But of course we don't care about such details!!! ☺ We just want the Happy End!!!

But of course it might take us a while to get there!!

I just loved this story!
It has everything a great romance needs! Funny and cute and sexy moments. But also very serious and sad moments (especially when we go back in time with our darlings!)

Amazing book, but two tiny points that bothered me a bit. Nothing that would bother anyone else. It's just me being a weird reader. ☺
First of all - there's unfortunately one of my absolute hard limits in here: faith/religion/god-talk. I love a good priest romance ;) - but as soon as a 'normal' book tries to tell me to believe in god, or rather the hottie professor in that book says: yes, I believe in god, I want to run away screaming. It wasn't all that bad here, but we do go to confession a million times and talk to a priest and ugh. I just hate that. Also... the story was kind of slow here and there. I couldn't read it in one sitting, I had to take some breaks and go do other stuff. I felt a bit bored sometime. Ugh, that sounds bad. I don't mean it that way. It wasn't bad or mega slow, but I wanted a bit more excitement. Or a bit more excitement a bit sooner... but pffff, don't listen to me - it was a great love story!!!!! I even cried a bit toward the end. ♥

Please Hollywood, come and make a movie out of this book!!!!

BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE was such a great love story! Funny, sexy, moving, sad, exciting, adorable! Run to your nearest amazon for  your own Caine - this one is MINE! And I mean both the guy on the cover and the guy in the book!

ARC received for an honest review

PSSSST - how hot is this cover?!?!

I have adored everything I have read by Vi Keeland so far, so it is always a happy day when a new book turns up on my kindle.

I loved the way Caine and Rachel meet - wrong guy, wrong place kind of thing.  From there on I loved the slow build between our lovelies.

I am a bit of a sucker for the teacher/student trope - though that is not exactly what this book is.  It is so much more than that.

Sure, there is plenty of zap and spark between them, but they don't jump right into bed.  There is enough going on between them that they don't need that step - yet.

But when they go there - oh my!  Caine can talk dirty to me any time, any day! Aaaaaand now I have that Poison song running through my head.

I did get a bit frustrated with Caine at times, with his "come here, come here. No go away" thing he had going on. I could kinda understand why but gees Louise!

But I guess the road to a happy ending is never an easy one, and he sure did make the most of a rough path.

There are some fantastic secondary characters.  I adore Rachel's boss Charlie.

Sweet, sexy and sometimes sad, Beautiful Mistake has the right mixture to keep me reading the whole thing in one session.

Now can't wait to see what Ms Keeland bring us next.
