I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn't expect her to become my best friend. I didn't expect to fall in love with her.

Four years of sexual tension.
Four years of keeping our distance, because I won't tell her the truth.
Four years of torture, because I'm terrified of scaring her away.

The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend. For not thinking about the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I were to pull aside her panties and touch her skin.

Now, I'm ready to toss out the rules.
I'm about to take what's mine.
Damn the company.
Damn our friendship.
Damn my fears.

Trey owns a troubled lingerie company in Los Angeles.
Kate is the creative director he hires to breathe life back into Marks Lingerie.

And during the next four years they do exactly that. Create new ideas for the company, sell a lot of underwear and make the brand successful again.

But they also fall for each other.

Trey promised himself he would never again start something with a colleague or an employee.
But being so close to Kate day after day.... it's hard not to.

They start out as strangers. Become friends. Then best friends.
But that's it ... right?
They can't risk the company for a few nights in bed...
But what if it's more than that? More than a few nights?
How about forever?
But will the company survive if they should ever break up?
And will Kate be ok with his kinky side?

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH KATE & TREY???
WILL THERE BE A HEA???
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!☺

Adorable!

I had absolutely no idea what to expect from this book.
The cover and blurb made the book seem so verrrry sexy and I was excited to get started.
And I really enjoyed reading it. I was done pretty fast, it's not all that long. But there's a lot in it.
But also not a lot. Gah, it's complicated. I can't explain what I mean....
Four years!!! It takes Trey and Kate four years to finally forget all about their fears and whatnots and take what they have wanted all along...
And I kind of liked that. The slooooooow build-up. The slow way they're getting to kow each other. Falling for each other. Secretly. Kind of. There's all this flirting and dirty talk and funny banter. And they also kind of know that they have feelings for each other. But that's it. Nothing more happens for years. They live their lives - there are boyfriends and girls. But through all those days, they're also falling for each other more and more every day.

This is such a huge but also very subtle love story.

I loved them both so much. Well, I loved Trey more. That's most often the case with me and characters. I'm not a fan of most females in books. But I really loved those two. Trey is so amazing.

I wish there would've been a bit more back-story and family-time with both of them....but it was ok the way it was.

• adorable • funny • serious • mature • subtly sexy •

Nothing like all those sexy New Adult things we get so often these days (I love them too) but this was soo different - so adultish!☺
The whole book had this  I'm-a-36-year-old-single-lady-drinking-champagne-at-an-art-gallery-in-Manhattan feel to it. No idea what I mean by that though☺. It felt so grown-up somehow and artistic and beautiful and all this teasing sexiness.

I wanted to hit Kate & Trey over the head a few times. They wasted so much time with being stupid and grrrr... But they used that time to get to know one another. That's the perfect basis for a great relationship! ☺ I really enjoyed reading it!

LOVE IN LINGERIE was such a beautiful & sweet & different & teasingly erotic lovestory!  Run to your nearest amazon for your own lingerie-company-owner-hottie!
And btw. - if words on the pages of erotic romance were lingerie, I would want it to be a very tiny speedo on the guy I imagine as Trey ☺

If I had to find something about the story that I didn't like all that much...
it was a tiny little bit to subtle for my tastes. I was expecting a bit more sexiness. It's there, but too subtle and too late! Even though the whole book kind of IS sexiness in its purest form...but I wanted a tiny little bit more!
The story was also a bit short ... I think with another 100 pages of depth or just more story, more backgrounds, more excitement or action or kink ... it would've been more interesting! The whole book was a bit too subtle for me! ☺ But I think that's exactly what Alessandra wanted to write! It's definitely very beautiful!

ARC received for an honest review

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started Love In Lingerie.  The author alone had me keen to dive in, as Ms Torre has not disappointed me with her books yet.

From Kate and Trey's first meeting, I knew I was going to adore them both.  Full of flirtation, but Trey has a definite no fraternisation rule at his company. So friends it is.

This pair were never cut out to be just friends.  Years of near kisses and relationship misses see us taken on their journey as they deny themselves what they really want - each other.

Through it all though, we don't have any big drama or angst.  I put this down to the fact that the characters are in their 30's and not so prone to the big blow ups and theatrics of younger characters.  Or maybe it is just that I am an old fart these days and the younger characters these days just feel soooo much younger.

Ms Torre had me enthralled from the moment I started reading.  I have come to really enjoy her style of writing.  It is quite simplistic in a way, but the story jumped off the page.  I stayed up way too late and got up way to early so I could finish this book.  I just needed to know what was gong to happen next with Kate and Trey.

Kate and Trey's story is a slow burn, forbidden -though not taboo- type story.  And when I say slow burn I mean things don't come to a head until very late in the story.  It is subtle, and sensual and just a book that I didn't know I needed to read - but I really did!
