❤ Watching The Sky Cry ❤ J.B Hartnett ❤

Release Date:  24th September 2016

Ten years is a long time when youre thirty-two. Wed seen our share of ups and downs, but I could honestly say they were mostly up.

Thats the thing about happiness though. It lulls you into a false sense of security. Im sure neither one of us thought wed ever be touched by crippling loss or immeasurable grief. But not all stories have a happy ending and I knew better than anyone that sometimes, one of you wont make it till the end. One of you has to go first. And one of you

Will be left behind to pick up the pieces.

And thats me.

But starting over isnt at all what I thought it would be. I needed escape from the memories that plagued me, reminded me. So I went back to where it all began. To the town where I was born. To the place whose beauty could pierce my pain. Where I experienced my first kiss, where I fell in love, where a man was my earth. And I

Was his sky.

Copy received from author for an honest review

From the minute I read the synopsis of this book a little while ago, I knew that this was going to be one I would definitely be reading.

I also knew it was going to be an emotional read.

And it was that and so much more.

From the first word to the last, I was swept away with this story.  A truly beautiful second chance love story.

Rylie's story is as tragic as it is beautiful.  So many things have happened to her in her life - but all of those things brought her back to her first love -sigh.  Who doesn't remember their first love.

Quentin is a broken soul, childhood hurts are still affecting him today.

But Rylie coming back into his life could be just what they both need.

"You are my heart. You are my saviour.  You are my sky."

As I turned each and every page, I hoped, I needed Rylie and Quentin to make it.

There are some great secondary characters in Watching The Sky Cry. I adored Rylie's family, how close they are even through all the adversity.

Something about Rylie's brother called out to me.  At times it was like we were kindred spirits.  I have been through some of the things he goes through, and it made it so easy for me to connect with him.

The was also a twist in the tale that I certainly did not see coming!  I hope hope hope we get more of that story somewhere in the future.

J.B Hartnett has poured her heart and soul into Watching The Sky Cry, and you can feel it with every tear, every kiss, every word.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.
