When Brent Mason looks at Kennedy Randolph, he doesn’t see the awkward, sweet girl who grew up next door. He sees a self-assured, stunning womanwho wants to crush the most intimate - and prized - parts of his anatomy beneath the heels of her Christian Louboutins.

Brent has never let the loss of his leg in a childhood accident affect his ability to lead a fulfilling life. He sets high goals
and then he reaches them.

And now he has his sights set on Kennedy.
**
When Kennedy looks at Brent Mason, all she sees is the selfish, Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue-worthy teenager who humiliated her in high school to join the popular crowd. A crowd that made those years a living hell.

She’s not a lovesick social outcast anymore - she’s a DC prosecutor with a long winning streak behind her. Brent is the opposing attorney in her next case and she thinks it’s time to put him through a little hell of his own.

But things aren’t exactly working out that way.

Because every fiery exchange has her wondering if he’s as passionate in the bedroom as he is in the courtroom. Each argument and objection only makes him want her more. In the end, Brent and Kennedy may just find themselves in love
or in contempt of court.

APPEALED is a sexy, humorous romance about first crushes, second chances and the final verdict of the heart.

Brent.
We all remember him from the previous books. He's best friends and business-partners with Jake, Sofia & Stanton.
They started their own law firm at the end of the last book:

Becker, Mason, Santos & Shaw

Now it's about two years later and it's finally time for commitment-phobe Brent to find his Happy-Ever-After.
And he'll (hopefully) find that with Kennedy.
She was the girl next door  - and those were both huge doors. Both Kennedy and Brent come from very rich families.
They used to be best friends until they weren't anymore.

One day she just left and he hasn't seen her for 14 years!

Now she's back - and she's an attorney too - the one trying to send his clients into jail!!!!

Lots of funny and sexy action in and out of the court-room until the two of them will find their Happy End......

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO Kennedy & Brent???
WILL THE TWO OF THEM get their second chance for a HEA???
WILL THERE BE A HORRIBLE CLIFFHANGER?

I'm not telling you that

Ok - no Cliffhanger of course!

I really enjoyed this book.
And I loved that we got to see our darlings from books #1 & #2 again! ☺

Did I love the book? And does it deserve my 5 Stars?
Yes, your Honor, I did and it does! ☺

I especially love how Emma always tells her book from the males' POV.
And Brent is such an amazing male!!!! Phew.

I really loved Brent - and Kennedy too - she wasn't one of those annoying female characters. The ones who come off too feminist and strong, but just end up being annoying. Kennedy is so adorable - she IS this strong lawyer, but she's also still that kid that nobody liked in school.
And I love how Brent tells us that he DID like her - especially once she grew some boobs!!!
He's such an adorable guy. So funny and cute and good.
After what he went through as a kid, with his leg - and losing the love of his life, without knowing that Kennedy was that love of his life back then.
I cried a lot while reading!!! (There might even be some slightly suspensy moments!!!)

And of course we have LOTS of sexy moments too!!!!

I just LOVED this book - so sad that this was the last one in the series!!
But maybe we'll get to hear about future superhero Navy SEALs and cowboys and knights and princes one day!

SUSTAINED was an extremely adorable, moving, funny and sexy second chance Romance!!!
GO & one-click yourself some Brent NOW!!!!!

Can't wait for whatever Emma will bring us next ☺

ARC received for an honest review

Book three in the Legal Briefs series - woohoo! Last book in the Legal Briefs series - boooooo!!

I had other books waiting for me that needed to be read prior to Appealed - but the second it turned up on my Kindle, it took precedence.

Brent Mason and Kennedy Randolph's story goes waaay back, and I loved how we got their present and past stories. My heart hurt for both of them as we learn more about their pasts, but when they are reunited, my heart soared.  I just knew that good things had to happen for them... right?

I loved how through it all, Kennedy is this strong, take no crap woman. As we learn more, she could have been the complete opposite, but she pulled up her big girl knickers and got on with life (no matter how hard it was for her).

And the fact that we got more of the characters from the first 2 books and a glimpse into their lives was wonderful.

There was nothing I didn't love about Brent.  Sexy and successful, but at times he is still a 12 year old boy, or the high school guy Kennedy last knew.  I laughed so many times, but there were times when he just made me want to cry.  And I adore that we get these stories from the male POV, and see beyond their cocky lawyer exteriors.

There was plenty of hot sexy time, with a dash of suspense thrown in for good measure.

Now the only thing wrong with this book and series is that
to is really being over :(

I have thorough loved the trials (pun intended) and tribulations of these legal eagles, and can't wait to see what Ms Chase brings us next.
