Six hundred minutes. That’s all it took ex-SEAL Kade Kingston to find trouble his first day home. He’d managed to survive covert operations in the hostile mountains of Afghanistan, only to be brought down by a baseball bat. If he had the first five hundred minutes back, he would have only had one drink before insisting his old friend tell him what the hell was going on. As it stood now, he and Sutton were both dead in the water—literally and figuratively. Six hundred minutes. That’s all it took for Kade Kingston to walk back into hell in his own backyard, losing everything in the process . . . including his freedom.

Inmate dog trainer, Harley Dash, knew Kade briefly as a teenager and was convinced of his innocence. Wanting to help the brooding ex-SEAL, she took it upon herself to force Kade into the Inmate Dog Training Program while she looked for a killer. With Kade confined, Harley and her father, along with two sexy SEALs, looked for evidence that would set Kade free.

Unfortunately, for Kade, Sutton's murder was just the tip of the iceberg in a case of corruption and murder, one that will send Kade and Harley into the Florida Everglades with a killer.

Will they survive the alligators of the Florida Everglades, or will the Dread Pirate Roberts exact his revenge?

CP Smith has done it again!  Just when you think she can't top her last book... BOOM!  She amazes me all over again.

I have read each and every book she has published to date, and each and every time, I devour them.

Kade and Harley have been aware of each other, circling each other for years.  But their timing has never been right, and nothing has ever happened.

They do finally start to get their act together - but not in the best or most convenient circumstances.

I just love Ms Smith's alpha men - and this one being a Navy SEAL - can I just saw phwooooar (I may be a bit of a sucker for a SEAL)

Then there are her feisty, take no BS do women. Harley is a firecracker! She gets herself into dramas, but she is not too stupid to listen when she needs to.  Her job as a trainer with abused dogs - waterworks!  I loved this additional aspect to the story.

Watching Kade claim Harley - finally - is a beautiful thing.  No matter what has happened, where he is at, he has held his head high.  And now he is taking what he has always wanted.

And last but not least - Kade's tough as shit, take no prisoners, "The Princess Bride" loving SEAL brothers.  Oh how I love love love them!  They will surprise you more than once whilst reading Framed.

There is more to Kade's incarceration then you first think, and as the story progresses, tales of lies, deception, corruption and injustice come to the fore.  The dark depths that Harley and the Brute Squad will delve into to find truth will have you on the edge of your seat.

Ms Smith drew me into this story from the moment I first read a synopsis months ago.  And from the first word to the last, she held me captive.

Do yourself a favour - read this book.  You will not be disappointed.

Now, Ms Smith - what do you have for us next.

Kade just quit the Navy, after 12 years, to come home and take care of his cancer-stricken grandfather.
But after being back for only 10 hours, he lands himself in jail for murder. A murder he didn't commit of course, but he's in jail now, and unless his SEAL buddies come and find evidence to prove his innocence, he might have to stay for 7 to 15 years. And his unit has just been employed for 24 months.

Enter Harley.
She's been halfway in love with Kade since she was a 16-year-old cheerleader.
But he never noticed her.
Only he did notice her, he just thought he wasn't good enough for this amazing girl.

Now Harley is divorced and working as a volunteer dog rehabilitation specialist in Kade's jail. And her dad - who always believed Kade was a good guy - made her promise to get Kade to join her programm.

The attraction is still there after almost 15 years, and it's growing more and more...

Together ... and with the help of his SEAL buddies, they try to find out what really happened that night.
But things are getting dangerous inside and outside of prison!!!!

I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK!

This was my first CP Smith book - but once I see the word SEAL anywhere, I have to read it.
I might be a tiny little SEAL #Fangirl ☺

This story was everything I love in my romantic suspense books.
Lots of really hot and sexy navy SEALs and an adorable female, who has all those big and bad guys watching out for her - but she's tough enough to take care of herself.
Lots of suspensy moments and moving moments and sad moments and funny moments...
Added to all that, we have the dogs in Harley's rehab-program. I really liked that. How Kade clicked with his Buck. And Harley's Buttercup diva-dog ☺

Perfect story.
I just missed the sexiness a bit, in the beginning - BUT of course, we can't really have sexy moments when one of us is in jail :(((
BUT - I'm not telling you when exactly - but it might probably happen somewhere in the book - that Kade won't be in jail anymore ;)

A tiny little thing I didn't like - the characters talk to themselves a lot - OUT LOUD. A bit weird...but ok. ☺

I really enjoyed the story - you just have to keep reading - to find out if and when and how badly hurt, Kade will get out of jail.

Framed was a really suspensy and funny and moving and sexy and adorable Romantic Suspense story. You'll sooo want your own Kade after reading it.
