Now I have made no secret of the fact that I had problems with Bad Romeo, about how the story went round and round in circles for about 50% of the book before it started to move along. So at first I was unsure about what I was going to feel about Broken Juliet.

Just throw those worries out the window!

I LOVED Broken Juliet!

Starting right off where Bad Romeo ended (remember the 1000 I love you email?) Broken Juliet gets right into the guts of Ethan and Cassie's relationship.

We got a lot more detail this time about what happened over the years with their on again off again relationship. I have a love-hate relationship with Ethan - when he is good he is great, but when he is not so good, I just want to slap the crap out him!

My heart cracked, then broke each and every time with Cassie, for Cassie. Her and Ethan's relationship is a beautiful, broken mess and all I wanted was for them to finally get things right between them, have the forever kind of love they deserve.

I loved getting deeper into Ethan's psyche. Whilst reading Bad Romeo I just kept on thinking "what is your malfunction Mr Holt?" but there is so much more that I understand about him now.

So, can Ethan and Cassie finally get past the beautiful disaster of what their relationship has been for the past 8 years, and get their HEA?

Nope, not telling, but what I will say is that if you liked Bad Romeo, you are going to love love love Broken Juliet.

Writing has always been a passion for Leisa, and even though she originally intended to be an actress, it wasnt long into her time at drama school that she began writing plays.

Those plays were bad. Very bad. Well, her friends thought they were good, but thats because they were always cast in them and any opportunity to be on stage was met with an obnoxious amount of enthusiasm.

Since then, shes honed her craft, and several of her plays have been produced and toured throughout Australia.

These days, playwriting has given way to fiction writing, and Leisas debut novel, BAD ROMEO, will be available in a worldwide release through Macmillan Publishing in December 2014.

Leisa lives in Australia with her husband, two little boys, three cats, and a kangaroo named Howard.

(Howard may or may not be her imaginary marsupial friend. Everyone should have one.)
